It was a lovely day in Loguetown, people were out and about and having a good time. The sun was shining, but a light breeze off the sea kept it from getting too hot for the people walking the streets. It was also a fine day to set sail, but that didn't really matter much to the young girl who ran through the streets, her bare feet slapping against the pavement and the 'cape' she wore about her flowing around her, just as the blue sundress she wore underneath it. In her arms was three oranges.
Too anyone who took notice of the young girl it might appear as if she'd stolen the oranges. The appearance reflected truth. Molly had just stolen the oranges and escaped the clutches of the food vendor whom she stole it from. The young girl had no need of the oranges. She wasn't poor by any means, her fathers status as a bookshop owner did well to put food on their table, especially since he also sold maps which were popular with anyone traveling out to sea. The reason for the orange theft was simply to see if she could. It was easier to motivate herself to run fast when she was being chased.
Why might a young girl go to such lengths to practice running? The answer was that she wished to go out on adventures and she figured it would be necessary to flee while on adventures and needed to practice. Molly didn't outright steal the oranges, instead she tried to steal them stealthily. Sometimes she'd mess up on purpose, one of those times was today. As the girl ran, she turned to look to see if she was being followed. While this action was smart, it was also foolish. It told her that she wasn't being followed, but it prevented her from seeing the man in front of her. If the man didn't notice her, she would plow right into him. If he did notice and move out of the way, she would try to skid to a stop and end up tumbling to the ground in front of him.

It wasn't often Triton got to wander around Loguetown like this with nothing at all to do, being caught up in one theft or the other. And what else did somebody do when they were bored? He didn't really know where in town he wanted to go, just sort of figured he'd find something interesting along the way. Following the rumblings of his stomach, Triton had found himself in the food market, figuring this was good a place as any to start! "Smoothies!" It was the only thing on his mind at this point, what better delicious food to start with? Little did he realize that as he darted in that direction, he'd step right into the path of a darting little girl. Seeing as Triton was massive as he was, he'd looked straight over the tiny female and not noticed her entirely, leading to he smashing into him, his much larger and heavier frame no doubt knocking her over. Seeing as he was taken off guard he wasn't exactly ready for that, being knocked backwards somewhat himself in the process, eyes wide in surprise "What the hell?!" He straightened himself out, head quickly tilting down to get a look at the stranger in front him, holding on to what seemed to be an orange, "What are you doing?" He slid his right foot out a bit, brows furrowed slightly in annoyance but his tone suggesting genuine interest more than anything. He didn't understand why this kid just tried to tackle him, he supposed he should ask or something!

Molly would fall back as if she'd just run into a wall of some sort. "Gwah!" she'd say "That hurt." The young girl sat up, letting two of the oranges roll away to allow her to use one hand to rub her face. As of yet she'd heard the man speak to her, but was preoccupied by dealing with her new aches. After a moment she'd look up at the man whom she ran into. Compared to the young girl he was pretty huge. "WOAH. YOU'RE A GIANT!" she'd exclaim, completely ignoring his question of what she was doing.
The girl would quickly hop up, wincing slightly as she scraped her elbow in the fall. "Would you like an orange Mister giant?" Molly would ask holding out the one orange she managed to save from rolling off.

He stared quizzically at the little girl, wondering what she was doing with all those oranges. Did she steal them? Seemed likely with the way she was running like that, and with that he could only chuckle, "I don't suppose you paid for these did you?" His long arm swung out, snatching the orange from her hand, it quickly being unpeeled. Triton loved fruits, even better when in a smoothie, but he supposed this would have to do for now! "So, what are you running off stealing for? How much could you possibly sell an orange for?" He held out the orange as if to inspect it for some reason, he did this for a few seconds and then began to break it into pieces, quickly devouring all of it in large bites. He'd always loved oranges, he just supposed it was a bit of a bonus the pirates tended to keep them around so much, they were one of his favourite flavours of course. "Say, you don't know if the guy that sells these has a blender does he?"

Oh drat! The guy knew she had stolen them. For a moment she worried if the man was going to turn her in for stealing, but he took the orange anyway. That immediately made him awesome in her books. He was a cool guy who knew that you didn't always have to pay for everything. "I stole it for fun!" she'd tell him. "Gotta hone my skills if I'm going to be a super awesome spectacular adventurer." When the man questioned about whether or not she knew if the guy she stole from had a blender. That was a rather odd question. "Uhmmm... I dunno. I never steal from the same guy twice." she'd explain to him. "And if I did I wouldn't know him that well." What a silly guy!

For fun? why would she just steal for fun? Triton always thought that if you were gonna steal, you might as well profit from it - although he had to to admit, it was a bit fun wasn't it? He laughed lightly, his Pirate nature allowing him to find the committing of a crime funny. He supposed all people had to start somewhere, but oranges? That was amateur! "Well, whattya say you hone your skills some more?" He wiped the back of his hand over his mouth, almost drooling over the thought of a good smoothie. "I'm trying to find where I can make a smoothie, how good are you with directions?" "If you help me out, maybe I'll pretend I didn't see anything, huh"

Psh! What does she say to honing her skills some more. She says fucking hell yeah! Except with less expletives. She's only twelve years old after all. It's not good for a young child to curse like a sailor after all. "Hone my skills some more? Heck yeah! What do you have in mind?" Molly would ask, excited by the prospect of practicing. The girl should have been afraid or at least wary of the male, but she was the type of girl who got coerced into the van with free candy on the side. Luckily, nothing like that had ever happened in her life thus far. "Psh. That's easysauce." she'd reply to him stating he was looking for a smoothie and if she knew her directions well. It wouldn't have taken his last statement to motivate her, but she was a bit dissapointed by the fact that it wasn't anything exciting.

"Well then if it's so easy, why don't you show me?" Assuming the little girl knew where she was going, Triton would wander behind her, the sight of such a large man following behind a little girl likely turning the heads of the other people in the crowded markets, Triton could only imagine how silly he looked. Having finally found his destination, he only had to decide what flavour to have, and maybe a new task for this little thief-in-training? "Alright, i'm going to have orange. Go steal one for me, okay? Get something for yourself if you want, my treat!" Heck, he'd been stealing far more risky things than drinks when he was her age, she needed to pick up her slack if she wanted to make it as a super awesome spectacular adventurer!

Confidently, the girl strode forth and lead the way to the nearest smoothie parlor. If there was one thing the girl could be proud of, it was the fact that she knew the streets of the city well. She knew every single nook and cranny that there was in the city and could take you almost anywhere except for the more adult oriented places in the city. Once they arrived she would be asked to steal an orange smoothie. It was silly that he had said it would be on him if she wanted one of her own. She was the one doing the stealing after all. "Roger!" she'd say before quickly darting into the store. After a few moments she would return with one orange smoothie in her hand. "Here you go! I didn't want anything." she'd tell him holding out the beverage.

"Thanks, kid!" He smiled and brought the smoothie to his lips, quickly taking down large gulps of the orange beverage. "Say, if you ever want to become a real thief, you look me up okay?" He reached his left arm out, his large hand aiming to reach out and grab the kid by her head, playful messing up her hair with a few shakes. "The name is Trition, see you around!" /exit!
