DO YOU WANT A CREW?
Getting a crew established is not easy in the slightest, and if you want one, you need to know that you have a few things you need to do. Currently, we have eight slots available for potential pirate crews at the moment, and this will not be decreased, or increased unless the overall member base grows to the point where more crews wouldn't hurt. First and foremost, you must have an approved Pirate character that will be leading this crew, and as the soon-to-be Pirate Captain, it will be your job to create plot and events for your crew.
HOW DO I CREATE A FULL-FLEDGED PIRATE CREW?
In order to be established as a legit "pirate crew", the crew leader must find two or more other Pirates that are willing to join their crew, either OOCly and ICly, in which they will all then reply to this thread with those characters and the pirate crew name. A sub-board for your crew will then be created shortly, after the approval of your crew. Once this is done, it will be left to you to document information about your crew, such as, crew description, crew members (you are allowed to have only ten crew members in total), the ship's description, how to join, and overall crew bounty, inside your crew's board. Your crew, before getting a sub-board, must also purchase a Caravel Class ship (which costs 15,000,000).
HOW DO I GET A COLOUR FOR MY CREW?
Since crew progression will be a necessity for those who wish to established a pirate gang, in order to encourage advancement in plot, the pirate crew that obtains at least five members will then be considered one of the up-and-rising "Big Five" crews. These crews are the groups that have the most potential of plot progression and to be feared amongst the assembly of crews, and to distinguish them from the common ravel, these five crews will be entitled to a colour change of their choice for their accounts that symbolizes their crew. However, if it becomes obvious that one of the "Big Five" crews are lacking in activity, they could very well lose these privileges to a better-suited crew!
CAN I POTENTIALLY LOSE MY CREW SPOT?
Each and every crew must be fully aware that due to the limitation of crew spots, we will be watching and assuring that the approved crews are roleplaying actively and progressing with that crew, and not just hogging the spot. Each crew must RP actively with their crew and show some form of plot progression at least bi-weekly. If an activity check is initiated and staff learns that a pirate crew's active members have fallen below three, then that crew will be revoked of it's formation, board, and ship; however, as stated, this depends on the progression of your crew.
