Round at the docks, Tim-Tam just happened to be strolling there, mainly as he was checking out a ship that possibly might not notice his presence on until he reached his destination. Or at least served a decent cup of tea, tea was good in any situation, but drinking on board of a ship that you just happened to find yourself on, for free, without anyone noticing, always seemed to make it taste so much nicer.
Today was a nostalgic day so there was a yellow ribbon around his top hat that reached down to his neck. Emily was on his shoulder and the sun was shining somewhere out there, but for now it was a tad cloudy. He was sure the sun was there somewhere as he wasn't asleep, but he did take naps sometimes so perhaps it was night and the world just hadn't realised it yet. What a glorious day/night this was then.
He would watch the men taking crates too and from the ships, the strong, strapping lads, their muscles rippling and glistening with sweat, the light of the sun/moon was simply divine on their heavenly bodies. Until he opened his eyes and saw they they where just a bunch of nasty looking men and at some point he was sure he saw a woman man thing around as well. Why was everything so much nicer in his head?
~Because that's the best place to be~
Smiling he would look over at Emily on his shoulder
"Of course my dear, tis the best place in the world..."

Makir awoke from his daily nap, he and his wife still on board the small medical vessel they used as their base of operations. Sure, it was a small ship, big enough for a crew of up to four, but it worked for their purposes. He smiled, thinking of what their purpose was. His hands opened the cabinet before him, checking the medication stored within, elated with the knowledge he and his wife actually made a difference in people's lives. As he withdrew from the medical supplies, he began to remember a few things that stayed on his mind.
'Of course Marines help people, but they are bound by the laws, required to do things in a way that makes absolutely no sense. We help as well, but in trade for the freedom of unlimited choices of just how they could help, we gained the danger of being hunted by both the Marines and any Bounty Hunters who feel like we're worth hunting. A risky trade, but I feel its worth it, the smiles on their faces, and especially Kari's, make it worth so much.'
He sighed with happiness, as he climbed onto the deck, taking in the afternoon sun. Nothing was really out of the ordinary, save a man dressed a little, oddly, even somewhat like a high ranking Marine, which had him a little on edge. Well, so long as he played it cool, everything should be fine, right? He looked up to see the flag on the boat still had the Cyan Cross on it, meaning that he hadn't made the mistake of forgettign to change it out. He sighed with relief, and took a sip of his afternoon brew. A cup of Lady Grey tea, with a dash of alcohol to wake him up.

The sound of quiet footsteps took Kari's attention away from the book she was reading. Had Makir woken up from his nap already? She smiled, closing the book as he came up to join her on deck. Today was an unusually laid-back day for the couple, who were often busy either helping those in need of medical help, or procuring the items they needed for their work. The latter being a little more risky than one might assume.
"D-Did you have a nice nap, dear?" She asked him, standing to pour herself another cup of tea. It was a quiet day for the most part, but they still had to be on their guard for any marines or bounty hunters. Though they disguised themselves as ordinary doctors, they were still considered pirates, and if someone happened to recognize them as such...well, it wouldn't be good. What they did could be considered dangerous, and to some, foolish. But Kari wouldn't regret it for a second. She would much rather be spending her life this way, helping others alongside the one she loved, than the life she used to live alone on the streets.
They had been pretty lucky so far today, and hadn't attracted much attention. Being a passive person by nature, Kari wasn't very fond of having to run from those who were after their heads, but she did have to admit, it at least made their lives exciting.

Hmm? What was this? A nice young green haired man had popped up on deck of what could be considered a small ship, if a ship was the right word to use. It was small though which meant would he be more than likely spotted if he tried to take is next venture on this vessel? It all depended on how easily he could make himself spotted or even how many people were on board, so far it was only one, one he could handle, especially in the case of this one. Oh yes, he would like to handle this one very much.
Oh the thoguhts of what would ensue popped into his head one by one, making him giggle softly to himself.
~STOP BEING A PERV~
Only when Emily spoke to him did he snap out of it, oh she always knew how to make him come to is senses, she was a wonderful best friend, life long companion and the other half of his infamous double act. She got ever so shy during performances so they had to stop that, ah well, the times had been fun whilst they lasted. Adjusting his top hat, he was about to make his move when two other things happened aboard that vessel. One was another person, a young female of the red headed variety, the other was a single smell. Oh it was delightful, it swelled up inside of him and wanted to burst forth into the world of his senses.
Tea, oh delicious Lady Grey Tea!
That was settled, this was his next voyage. Whilst the young man was preoccupied with this female, he would softly dissapear into the throng of the world as was his way, and soon he would find himself aboard the ship, looking through a few of their things, hunting for the elusive tea.

Makir's eye kept the man within sight, he himself worried for his wife, not for himself. He wouldn't let anything, or anyone, harm his wife, or send her to those accursed Marine Prisons, he'd die before he let that happen. Even as his wife came up to him, he smiled, watching as the man tried to disappear into the crowd. However, he stood out like a sore thumb, even as he leaned down to kiss his wife.
"Well dear, it would have been much better if you had of joined me."
He gave a slight chuckle, as he watched the man head straight for one of their barrels of tea. A smirk came across his face, as his thoughts of having a fight slightly increased.
"So, sir, you here on business? Or come to just try and pinch a few barrels of tea while we weren't looking?"
His left hand rested on the haft of his Kusari-Gama, ready to fly at a moment's notice, he wasn't sure if the man before him would be friend or foe, but he put himself between the white-haired man and his wife. He was her Guardian after all.

Makir's eyes seemed to be watching something, even as he greeted her, and Kari looked around through the crowds, her gaze finding the weirdly dressed man whom her husband was keeping tabs on. He didn't seem very threatening but he was a bit...odd. And if there was one thing Kari had learned since she left home, it was that people could never be judged by their looks.
She watched curiously as the man tried to sneak aboard their boat, rummaging through their things until he found the barrels of tea. She stifled a small giggle, wondering if he was planning on stealing it with she and Makir right there watching. Her husband then turned and addressed the man, readying the weapon at his side, just in case of course. Kari laughed, finding the scene quite amusing.
"I-If you would like a cup of tea, sir, all you had to do was ask." They were but a humble doctor and her husband after all. Or at least, that was what they led everyone to believe.

Oh? He was discovered? Oh well, it wouldn't stop him in his tea hunting adventures. Well ok it might considering the green headed male was now touching what looked like to be two rather sharp and pointy objects he would prefer not to have enter his body. Well, not THOSE objects anyway...wait, where WAS his mind going? There where more important matters in hand, such as tea, oh delightful tea.
He would stand up straight, but not before putting back whatever it was that he was holding, and give a deep low bow towards the two people he was now addressing. He really would have to look into hat cloaking device he was thinking of maybe possibly creating at some point if he got around to it. Before he would get back up again into an upright position, he would quickly delve his hands into his back to produce a teacup and saucer, a grin on his face and the words
"I heard someone mention tea?"

Makir watched the man's antics with a slight grin, the site before him was indeed odd, seeing as he had a little doll. His wife and he had to pose as simple people, a doctor and her body guard husband, and he wasn't going to break cover any time soon. As his wife offere the man tea, he raised his own cup in a mock wave.
"Yeah, come and join us, be a good experience meeting someone new finally. Normally we only get those who are sick, and well, they don't often have time for chit-chat."
He smiled, calmly, one eye closed against the sun that blazed above them. His tea cup returned to his mouth, delivering the contents once more into his body.
"Lemme grab the tables, or well, what we use for tables around here."
He went over to where the man was, grabbing a few barrels, and three crates, positioning them in a makeshift table for them all to sit on. Now, during this time he'd keep his eyes on Tim-Tam, just in case. Who knew what someone would, or could, do these days?

Well this was certainly proving to be an interesting day, Kari thought to herself as she took the man's teacup and filled it with tea for him before handing it back. She then took a seat at their little makeshift table, relaxing in the warm sun with her own cup of tea.
"Y-You must really like tea if you would sneak aboard a random ship just to take some." She laughed, still finding it amusing. "O-Or was there...another reason you came aboard our ship today, sir?" Like Makir had said, it wasn't very often that they got visitors other than sick people in need of medicine. So she was curious as to what would bring this very odd man here.
She took another sip of her tea and gave her husband a small smile. She could tell he was still wary of this man, but he had every reason to be. They still had no idea if he was friend, foe, or something in between.

His cup was taken but he knew in his heart it was going to be filled with the most precious ambrosia known to mortal man, tea, glorious tea. Lady grey in all her splendour, but there was something else here, not in his own drink but he could smell it wafting in the breeze, something tainting the splendour that is tea. Vodka? Or some other form of alcohol? Hmm whatever it was it was impeding on the sanctity of the heavenly brew. Although it was each to their own, even if it was a bad move.
"The name is Tim-Tam my dearies, call me as you wish. Tea was on the agenda I am sure of that but there where other things going on in that little head of mine."
~So little you can't even fit a brain in it...~
"Oh Emily please, we are in company...Oh, this is my companion by the way. Emily say hello!"
~.....~
"Bless her she's gone all shy...So my good couple what brings you here? Oh and I gather you always take your tea with a drop of something else then my good man?"
