- Feng Shui - Less of a practice, and more of a compulsion, Oro takes part in the belief of Feng Shui; a Chinese system of geomancy believed to use the laws of both Heaven, and Earth to help one improve life by receiving positive qi. Due to the superstitious nature he was raised amongst, Oro took to this belief and practice that the placement of object/furniture along with their color/element manipulated energy/luck/qi like a fish takes to water. It isn't unusual to see Oro to get up and rearrange a room, or the cargo of a ship to create a proper flow of qi to either himself, or all the occupants; an act that is as natural, and subconscious as breathing.
Stemming from this compulsive practice of Feng Shui, the flow of qi, or the lack of such a flow (or even a flow of negative qi) seems to affect Oro physically. Examples of this vary between if Oro enters a city/island/town whose buildings are structured in such a fashion that it disrupts the flow qi he will feel physically sick, and weakened as if struck by an illness. Meanwhile if he enters a room with the correct color scheme, placement of objects/furniture, etc he'll feel energetic/empowered.
One of the fatal flaws of his compulsion is that similar to other cases of compulsion, if something is disrupted, or broken the compulsive addict turns violent. This case is true with Oro as the man could turn violent from slight modifications as in moving an item after he has moved it, or even physically standing in the way of a flow of qi thus blocking it (Oro is not above physically moving some one). In the most extreme case Oro in a fit of rage subconsciously killed a marine after said marine disrupting the home's flow of qi.

Yawarakai-Te (Tender Hands ) - link. An unusual looking weapon, forged solely for the sake of deceiving opponents in combat is the Yawarakai-Te. Named after a katana forged by a famous forgotten sword-smith, the Yawarakai-Te is a katana styled sword which has a most awkward sheath, and hilt. The sheath of Oro's sword has been sculpted to mimic the appearance of the forestock, and barrel of a rifle; an illusion that is made complete with the hilt taking the appearance of the stock, and butt of the gun. Interestingly the "gun-sword" has been crafted in such a way that while sheathed the trigger is actually functional in that the sheath is spring-loaded to unlatch, and unsheathe the sword once pulled. In addition when sheathed; the sheath, and hilt of the sword latch, and lock together to seamlessly give the illusion that it truly is a rifle.

Red Wave Kimono - Custom made just for Oro himself, it is a long flowing man's kimono that has been split in half in regards to the color scheme as the right half of the kimono is black while the left is bathed in a red color. Acting as a border between these two messing colors is a design of flames rolling, and crashing like the waves of the ocean from his left hip to his right shoulder. The kimono is designed with his practice of Feng Shui in mind with the color black representing emotional protection and power, red representing luck and happiness, and lasting the rolling waves of fire representing energy and passion.
Naval Officer's Jacket - A possession that from time to time cause general confusion regarding Oro as one doesn't normally see a Pirate wearing the jacket of a Marine Officer. Unlike what one would think, Oro does not wear this out of pride for killing a Marine, but instead to honor his memory as a life taken before his time. In his youth Oro struck down the jacket's former owner in a fit of unjust rage after the Marine had disrupted the flow of Qi in Oro's childhood home. Oro feels it is his responsibility to wear it, and continue on its owners legacy even though they walked two very different paths. He is rather protective of this jacket not allowing anyone else to touch, or wear it, god help you if you damage it. Oro has had in modifed so that both Yawarakai-Te, and Juuchi Yosamu may be holstered within the jacket; hanging on either side of him.
Juuchi Yosamu ( 10,000 Cold Nights ) - link. A second oddity in Oro's possession is the Juuchi Yosamu which to the untrained eye looks like an ordinary rifle similar to his Yawarakai-Te. Jet black in appearance, what this bizarre object truly is is an umbrella though the handle, and pole have been fashioned to look like the barrel, and stock of a rifle. Meanwhile the skeleton, and fabric of the umbrella when unopened resemble the forestock of a rifle. Just like the Yawarakai-Te, this "umbrella-gun" has a functioning trigger that acts like the spring of an umbrella. When pulled the umbrella will open, and when the trigger is pushed forward the umbrella will close.
