[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,420,true] ¤ THE CYBERNETIC BLADE ENTERS THE DARKNESS ¤ CHAPTER 002: LOST IN THE WORLD Ohara, an isle drenched in beauty but stained with the misfortune of being the next destination these cybernetic orifices destined for. The mechanical town known as Illusia no longer held any importance with me, and unwillingly, I was forced to sever all bonds with those I had potentially become close to. Regardless of the friendships and acquaintances I earned during my duration as the "faceless Susano'o", sporadically, I was acknowledged of a bounty that had been placed on my head. The problem that laid with the information was that I had no recollection of performing such criminal activities, and I wondered, what exactly was the mind state of this former battle-suit? Within the boundary of the industrial town, I witnessed this previous countenance be plastered across every wall and building, and I knew then that my safety wasn't definitely indefinite within those confines. The plan was to slip from existence into the shadows, and with the title of "pirate" on my head, I had no other choice but to trust in those who wore a similar reputation. Where that road would lead, would be entirely based on chance.
And through shady movement, I crept along the edge of darkness, assuring that I remained wary of those who sought to bring me to justice. The venture was extensive, but I had rolled a lucky seven as I came to Ohara, a town that was untouched by hysteria and lacked sufficient care for the "faceless Susano'o". In this town alone, the investigation I strove for would have to be expeditious, and a single thought came to mind: where would one go to find information, even if the endeavor was vague? The leather jacket coloured with a deep, black hue had given me enough disguise to enter one of Ohara's infamous libraries, and this is where the search would begin. First and foremost, there was nearly a million questions that scrambled through this untouched mind, and the first came of the title these suits had been given. The night had come to engulf the town, and cautiously, I snuck into the reference center unnoticed, prepared to eliminate those who stood in my way. A quadruple set of crimson dabs scanned the library shelves, questing for that nonsensical word. Hopefully, I would find what I came for, inconspicuously.¤ credit for this sexy template belongs to renni of nrp ¤ | [atrb=valign, top] words: 384 tagged: --- notes: about damn time, amarite? xD |

Whenever he wasn’t running errands for his parents or helping around the family shop, Aras was stationed at one of Ohara’s many libraries. Numerous scholars called Ohara home and maintenance of the pacifistic village’s massive libraries were a top priority. At first, the kid was reluctant about the job, not wanting to be cooped up around a bunch of books filled with cryptic words and terminology that he had never heard before. However, as time went by, the dark skinned boy had grown to like the libraries and the vast amounts of knowledge that it had to offer. Although he wasn’t too bright and goofy, Aras wasn’t completely incapable of learning. In fact, he liked to learn, he just needed a bit more time than others for things to sink in. Normally at this time, the twelve year old would’ve already been at home, either relaxing within his room or enjoying a nice home-cooked meal. This night, Aras was searching for a particular book, one that delved more into the subject of Cyborgs.
At first, the young explorer thought the whole commotion about Cyborgs was nothing more than a twisted rumor though his doubts dissipated whenever he heard numerous stories about the mechanical humanoids from the seemingly all-knowing scholars. They said that some were victims of horrific experiments while others willingly modified themselves in order to gain newfound power. Whatever the reason may be, the existence of Cyborgs further proved that technology was rapidly advancing within the semi-archaic world.
The child’s dark eyes traced the shelves, hoping to pick out the elusive novel. There was plenty of lighting within the library for many studied and read even in the late hours. Humming, the lad strolled through the numerous aisles before coming to an abrupt halt. Head turning, he noticed a tall, cloaked figure slipping about with a thief’s grace. Tilting his head, Aras started a light jog, hoping to catch up to the masked stranger.
“Hey! Hey, do you need any help with anything?”

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,420,true] ¤ THE CYBERNETIC BLADE ENTERS THE DARKNESS ¤ CHAPTER 002: LOST IN THE WORLD Silently, I became akin to a shadow in the darkness, maneuvering throughout the library halls as I avoided the other humans that were ignorant of my presence. The appearance I donned wasn't one that could be described as common and understanding, and I knew even if a single soul witnessed this cybernetic suit, it would potentially stir up mass hysteria. Unfortunately, I had confused the black of the night with the reference center being closed, and it wasn't obvious that I wasn't alone until I nearly came face-to-face with an adolescent teenager. However, I was quite witty and light-footed about my movement, and I remained invisible for enough of a duration I needed. The section that I shifted through was labeled with an inconspicuous "S", and the word that I attempted to match with some of this aged literature had to be here. Originally, swiftness and avoidance was my main priority, but upon stumbling into the location that held the potential answers to my questions, my mind became focused on nothing but accuracy and insurance. The cybernetic boots I were provided with had the necessary muffle of noise while the large, black trench coat disguised my countenance from others, but just as I came to find exactly what I came for, another pubescent voice resonated from my rear.
“Hey! Hey, do you need any help with anything?” Dubiously, I stood with the composure of a statue in the middle of the pathway, irritated that I could be revealed by a mere child. Had my curiosity grown with such animosity that my awareness faltered in response? Nonetheless, I had been discovered, and I couldn't merely shrug the child away. Without moving a single inch, I refused to pivot my front toward the teenage boy and potentially frighten him such as I had experienced in the past, so I kept the hollowness of the leather jacket's rear toward him, hoping he wouldn't be prying enough to catch a glimpse of my countenance. There would be a slight, indiscernible mechanical tone within the deepened voice I spoke with, and I tried effortlessly to disguise it, but I couldn't trust the ignorance of this child. Fortunately, I preferred entering the building without the assistance of Kusanagi, which waited patiently outside the library's walls. Soft-spoken and cautious of spiking the teenager's meddlesome behavior, I wondered how a snake could slither out of such a situation.
"You want...to help me?...Yes...I'm searching for a book...about the word 'Susano'o'...where can I find it?" ¤ credit for this sexy template belongs to renni of nrp ¤ | [atrb=valign, top] words: 437 tagged: bitch nigga aras. notes: ninja mode. =.= |
