It would likely surprise all those aboard the former pirate vessel that the ship they had collided into was not just populated with pirates. No, aboard it was one other whose teeth were bloodied from ripping out the throat of one of the pirates. The person in question only just qualified as a person at all. He was a wolf and was one of the few members of his kind who had learned the human ways of walking and talking. At first glance from the front he did not appear to be a marine, unless you noticed the marine issue pistol. However, on the back of his blue, layered vest was the justice insignia. The rest of his clothing was his personal preference, black muscle shirt and trousers, large spiked shoulder pads, dark blue and purple combat boots, black and purple fingerless gloves, spiked kneepads and several other accessories. The accessory that stood out the most was his rather hi-tech looking blue-lensed mechanical eyepatch. He He had heard the boat coming and had jumped at the moment of impact, grabbing hold of a rope and swinging round, landing at the point of intersection. He had expected pirates, but what was aboard were marines. That piqued his interest, but he wouldn't show it.
"You're late. Most of them are already dead" he said gruffly with a slight growl to his voice. It was the marine's duties to deal with pirates and the fact that one who was not yet part of a fleet had arrived first was surprising and what was more surprising was that he had dealt with many of them single-handedl. That was the reason behind his statement. "Captain Shikon Tsume....which one of you's in charge?" He was not polite. That was not in his nature. He was never polite or courteous unless someone had earned that from him. Same went with respect. None of these things were birthrights in his eyes. They had to be earned and the only way to earn them was through proof. Suddenly his ear twitched slightly. There was a sound behind him, very quiet, but enough for his sharp ears to catch. With a swift movement he drew his pistol and fired it under his arm catching the pirate sneaking up on him in the chest. With little sign of remorse he holstered the pistol and pulled out a cigarette which he lit with a snap of his claws. He took a puff and then spoke again. "Well?"

But it flew away from her reach as bullets threatened to reach. Life goes on and rightly so, The wheel of time is turning. Like a shooting star, she'll catch them all, before the night is gone. She closed her eyes but saw the dreaded night, a stormy night, where she couldn't get away. Mission Name: Commi Island Patrol - Harbour Members: Available to 99 Fleet NPC: Smileey~ Description: With the 99th Fleet stationed at Commi Island, the Vice Admiral feels it necessary to gain intel about the island. Therefore, you get to play Landscape Surveyor! Take a handy dandy map with you and begin to patrol the harbour and perimeter of the island. There's word that Pirates like to sneak on the island, pretending to be tourists; sniff them out and arrest them immediately.
"Captain Shikon Tsume, I'm Vice Admiral Minako Minami of the 99th Fleet. Your...skills excite me, let's just have some fun with this for now and leave politics for later hehehehe." yes it was a bit too late to get the seemingly teen-aged pink haired girl to stay sane. The blood she saw on the Captain, as well as the gun shot, that was enough to unleash the hell within. For the gunshot and them slamming into the Pirate ship had attracted the crew back to their boat in a hurry. The first to come running was the Navigator followed by the marksmen whom was moving from cover to cover along the docks. This port of entry wasn't a port of entry at all, but rather a place for fisherman. Sneaky Pirates huh, well let's see how everyone dispatches the rest of the foes. Minako ran off to where the Navigator came running, engaging him at the boarding plank. Meanwhile coming right out of the Cabin was the Cabin Boy, whom the Petty Officer would recognize as the giant Gorilla of a man that was doing chores previously. The Doctor snuck up the sails via rope and would be in the Crow's next, looking straight out at Fang in the opposite one. He had a grin before he cocked his pistol and was ready to shoot. The First Mate felt the desire to come form the Captains quarters which was badly damaged by the Red ship. He snuck around and decided to jump onto the confiscated ship, where the Rear Admiral awaited at the Bow. Lastly the Musician whom was coming back much more casually caught glimpse of someone rushing towards the dock. A young woman in a knee length skirt and white top. [/style]

I hear voices inside, fuck the lord. It's with the devil I confide.
The rear admiral had managed to not move an inch from his position on the bow of the ship, he was enjoying himself too much to care for the combat that ensued. Hands tucked behind his head, he yawned, parting eyelids as the pirate crew's first mate boarded their ship. Sighing, the rear admiral shifted his hands down to his belt line, he could already foresee a showdown. Only a kind fate would allow that his opponent be a swordsmen, he was rather lazy to deal with another gunner. This fleet was turning out to be quite the joke, no holding two animals in it's rank.
"You just going to stand there staring, or did you want something?" The taunt was half-assed, but by the likes of his adversaries composure, it was more than enough to rattle him. A scimitar in one hand, a gun in the other, the pirate raised his sword high above his head. Lips parted to unveil an unsightly shout, and the steel blade came crashing down on the Rear Admirals position. It was a little over dramatic, as the events played out, the marine rolled off his seat into a stance and easily evaded the strike.
Keen crimson hues watched as the scimitar crushed through the wooden railing, and his eyes narrowed. The rear admiral was officially pissed. This dimwitted charlatan had destroyed the marine's favorite seat, how dare he. "Mother fucker, I was sitting there!" Jacques shouted, shortening the distance between them in the blink of an eye. They both stood at a draw, gun's aimed for one anothers chests. As the marines foot rose quickly to the extended hand of his foe, the pirate matched him.
Their feet colliding with steel and sending each others gun airborne. Both were now down a weapon, but the marine had dual for a reason. His hand shot to his side, pulling the long barreled revolver from its holster as he proceeded to pull the trigger. Eight pounds of pressure was all it took to send the small lead fragment vaulting through his enemies shoulder. Luckily for the pirate, for the marine rarely missed a vital shot at close ranges. In the time it took for the rear admiral to pull the trigger, the tip of his enemies blade had slid across his chest, tearing both flesh and cloth from Jacques's lithe frame. As it stood, they we're relatively even. "Not bad," he mused, giving his foe the benefit of the doubt. His anger had begun to turn to something more, and his willingness to fight was at a higher level than usual.

What the hell is going on again?” Ever so curious no one informed the commodore that they would be taking part in something so stupid, when the boat was beginning to get rocky and few voices could be heard his curiosity grew until his head peeked over the crows next and the huge red ship was going to be pulling a dick move and driving directly into another ship. Anger welled up in him as he didn’t think this Vice Admiral truly cared about her ship at all but faint memories of the ship doing this before started to fill his mind; guess there were more foolish people in the world.
Regardless, from no-where the entire scene went to hell… not that it really mattered after all the battle was feeling like the fault of the Admiral and possibly the raccoon that found itself on board; still needing to be explained to him.
”This is… this is something after only being on the boat for a fe…” In the middle of his inner speech the commodore’s hazel eyes caught hold of a man in a white coat with a black bandana on making his way to the rival ships crow’s nest… at first a thought of waving his own white coat at him crossed but when the strange fool pulled out his gun, that’s when the seriousness happened; mind you there was no need to panic but a certain need to get out of the crow’s nest so around the large beam he’d go to avoid the first shot if it was fired, but in reality he did not want to risk the first blast so the moment he got around the beam and took that rope of his out he’d leap out to the wrangling his arm around one of the ropes and successfully passing off the other side of his rope from the weapon and like a zip-line the commodore would speed to the base; though he’d let go 2 meters before the base just in case the doctor was waiting for him this would also drop him behind the entrance to the innards of the boat meaning he’d be on the side lines.
The doctor was now looking for the marine but with him being ducked off on a side away from the docks the Pirate would have no chance of spotting the marine who was in good cover meaning he wouldn’t see the marine stalking the crow’s nest from the ground… not to mention the pathway to the ship of the pirates.

Shiiiit, people were coming out of the woodwork thanks to Vice Admirals stunt, seemed they were attracting everyone's attention. Well everyone except that wolf who apparently was already here, and felt the need to point out how slow they were like a complete dick. Whatever, Clay was more interested staring at the girl who jump up all battle ready like an amazon woman, obviously hungry for battle. Clay was almost sure she was a pirate, but she was too calm on a marine ship to be that. This group was getting way too big for the little guy, getting to look like he would never get any action with all these high class captains and shit. He would stick through it though, that's the pride of this little raccoon man all looking forward to making a name for himself in the marines. He was so relaxed and busy staring off into the wild blue yonder dreamily that he nearly failed to notice his old friend the Gorilla Man coming out of the cabin.
He remembered him alright, as the guy who almost spoiled his cozy hiding place, and forcing him to hide in those dusty rags. There was only one thing he wanted to say to that degenerate, "Apples. Now." He wanted those freaking apples, and he would get them if he had to kill the freak and storm the entire ship! With the thought of those delicious ruby orbs stuck in his mind, Clay-Jay gripped his sword with both hands and rested it horizontally on his body, bladed edge forward, before charging head on into his new adversary. He was ready to run the blade right into his ridiculously built opponent, all for the glory, all for the fame, but mostly, all for those apples.
All over the place it looked like pirates were showing up to engage the rag tag, unofficial fleet, ready for battle and raging at the destruction of their ship. Shit had indeed gotten real.

Soon, her eyes however fell upon a the musician who had spotted her on the docks beforehand. As she spotted him he instantly shouted pirate to her and she had nothing better to do than to set him in place. A grin formed across her soft pink porcelain lips. "Marine, Captain Arcelia Lupita at your service.. or should I say demise?" she yelled tauntingly at the musician pirate who seemed to be coming towards her. So, on her sort of day off.. she'd be getting into a fight in a skirt none the less. Tsk, tsk. She remained where she was standing and looked over at the musician who stalked towards her. "Beating up on pirates on my day off? I'd have it no other way," she said to no one in particular but seemed to enjoy the sound of her voice. She arched a brow towards the musician, "Shall we then?" she asked before she ran towards him, being quicker than the normal person breaching the gap between them in a matter of seconds (depending upon how far they actually were). She'd then swing her sword across aiming to slash the musician as she drew closer. Wondering if he would block or dodge or something. She smiled at him as she drew closer to him. "Vice admiral? Whatever." he said and then turned watching the marksmen sneak from cover to cover. He walked slowly forward reloading his gun casually as he did and then fired. Not towards the target, but towards the cover he had been hiding behind previously. To the marksmen's surprise, and probabaly anyone else's who was watching, the bullet bounced off the crate and hit the marksmen in back of the leg causing him to fall. The wolf walked round to see the pirate looking up at him. The pirate stared at him and then whispered the word's how. As the wolf put a bullet between his eyes he answered the now dead man's question.
"With great accuracy." he said and looked around. Everyone else of this so-called vice admiral's crew was taking care of one of the other remaining people. He wasn't the type to interfere in another's battles unless he saw them losing. Besides, seeing how they fought would gauge how much they were worth to him. He sat down on a crate where he had a good view of the vice admiral's fight. She would be the one who had to impress him the most. Plus he could see the rear admiral's fight as well. He took a drag on his cigarette whilst twirling the gun around his finger. It was loaded again in case he needed to use it. If he had to use it, whoever he used it to support would lose some respect from him. He already had developed some respect for the vice admiral. Using a pirate ship was very useful for stealthily striking at pirates and using that to gouge a hole in this ship was certainly interesting. It meant they had no way to try and flee. Still, a bit to noisy for his liking. He preferred stealth.

But it flew away from her reach as bullets threatened to reach. Life goes on and rightly so, The wheel of time is turning. Like a shooting star, she'll catch them all, before the night is gone. She closed her eyes but saw the dreaded night, a stormy night, where she couldn't get away. In the distance there were shouts of despair, loud shouts...followed by running and then they were gone. Why had that happened? Well it started with the various bouts of combat that occurred. The Rear Admiral was fighting in an intense match on their vessel; which began to rock a bit due to some stray waves. These waves would also affect the Captain and the Musician, which the Musician would use to his advantage. He'd follow the momentum of the rocking vessel and barrel into her by rolling on the makeshift slope. The Marksman had been quickly dispatched due to the clever one two combination of Captain Shikon. The Doctor whom was attempting to take out the commodore had his work cut out for him unfortunately. With the brilliant but daring escape, it meant that the Commodore was out of danger but the Rear Admiral and Captain weren't. Taking to the ropes, the Doctor would swing in place, his white coat masking his second pistol, whilst his first was aimed out and attempted to take two shots. One shot aimed for the Captain Arcelia's shoulder, the other shot aimed for Rear Admiral Jacques' left leg. Considering he was focused on the First Mate before him, this would be a sneaky tactic but then, no honour among Pirates; ne?
As for the Vice Admiral, she was engaged in a heated fight with the Navigator, whom pulled out a metal staff. He was forced back onto the docks and as he dodged the wakizashi strike to his left torso; he raised that arm for a makeshift signal. That signal was the reason why all the voices they heard earlier calmed down and ran. They knew that they'd been ambushed by the Marines and were executing their back up plan. When Minako caught sight of this, she'd call out to her crew:
"Everyone finish your fights as quickly as you can, we're going on patrol to sniff out the rest of this crew!" Vice Admiral's orders, it was time to hunt...and it wasn't going to be an easy hunt. Meanwhile, as the orders came through the air, the Petty officer was held back by the cutlass of the gorilla man he'd been fighting. Due to the man's height and weight, it was easy for him to hold back the blade strike, but due to said height differences it put a strain on his body to do so. Thus he'd aim to lean his body weight down, then push forward. If the lyrical raccoon wasn't prepared, he could very well be pushed back.
Meanwhile, Minako's hips twisted left as her right leg came up to kick the back of the Navigator's legs. Due to his narrow dodge, he twisted his staff at an angle to act more as a barrier, rather than attempt to parry the young woman's leg. This was good, except the motion of her legs would cause the staff to follow her motion; essentially the navigator was rocked. However these fights were only a distraction to the true mission. They needed to patrol the harbour of Commi Island and flesh these Pirates out. The more time that passed, the harder it would be for Fleet 99 to find the cunning Pirates and arrest them. [/style]

I hear voices inside, fuck the lord. It's with the devil I confide.
Of course. The laziest member on the ship, albeit the second strongest, was the one fate had decided to play against two enemies. The doctor was fruitless in his attempt to flank the rear-admiral. Having stood at the bow of the ship, he faced the direction of their enemies ship, which they rammed head on. The disruption had been enough to mildly disturb him, but these events were previous to the fight that ensued between the rear-admiral, first-mate, and now doctor. A man in a white coat, swinging from ropes like vines, wouldn't go unnoticed to a keen eye. Especially one that swung from his forward flank, regardless of where the majority of his attention lay.
Exhaling deeply, a bullet would make quick work of the airborne assailant. His gun would flash to eye level, casting a lead round into the doctors frame. Crimson now seeping from the white fabric, his hands would go loose, and his body would fall aimlessly into the water. Splash. It was enough to grab at the first-mates attention. He cocked his head, looking back to determine whether foe or ally had fallen. It would be his last mistake. The first being to take the gunner head on, with no sure victory.
A foot would shoot forward in the time it took the man to look over his shoulder, hooking around his ankle and prying it from the rocking ship. The unsteady footing coalesced with a moderate rocking knocked him off balance, and Jacques lunged forward, placing his foot on the pirate's chest. Gun aimed at his throat, he smirked. "Guess your luck just ran out." Apathetic to the identity and background of his foe, he'd show no mercy. Pulling the trigger to his magnum, he'd part ways with another bullet, this one piercing the first-mate through the center of his skull.
Fifteen meters from feral wolf captain, the rear-admiral raised his gun at eye level. Ruby gems intent on the iron sight at the apex of his gun, he fired a shot. It was loud, the blast signalling like a knock-out bell. A small lead fragment shot viciously past the wolf at a proximity enough to scathe his cheek. Standing behind animal, a young boy raised an axe overhead. He had every intention of cracking it through the skull of his comrade's murdered, but met death with equal demise. The bullet pierced his chest, tearing through flesh and muscle alike, and made way into and through his heart. The major organ began to slow it's pace, his breaths now spewing more blood than carbon dioxide. "Dumbass," Jacques exclaimed to himself, though the wolf would probably hear, seeing as his hearing was above par.

Fang wore a smirk quite proud of himself for avoiding his enemy but when his thoughts of revenge were about to lead him out into the open and up to the other crow’s nest the good doctor was already making his move towards the Rear Admiral who dispatched the assailant before he could even get around and close in, around this time he could hear the VA’s voice about finding the rest of the members of the crew.
”It’s too early for this nonsense.” Fang said turning his back to the back of the ship and sprinting out from the side of the ship; his feet wouldn’t fail him even as the ship was hit by the waves and tilted dramatically the two legs that carried him for 17 years would bring him all the way; his eye did catch hold of the Musician and the girl giving him battle as well the boy who died behind the wolf was also an interesting test of skill to witness.
The only reason that Fang’s course didn’t change was because of the confidence that shined out from the girl it was as if she was sure she would be the one to kill this man in other words he was her prey. That meant the other men would be open for the members who had already rid themselves of their annoyance could head out for the other members, and Fang was actually looking forward to show a bit of his own skill to the others that now made their way onto the Red Queen.
”I’ll be taking off first.” The lazy commodore said as he passed the crew members as he raced for the dock and when he reached the side of the boat he’d leap over to siding since with the waves taking the boarding plank was a risk. The hazel eyes of the Shandarian looked forward at the goal ahead on Commi-Island… the crew of the pirate ship.
”Hmm… maybe I should ask the dog to come along.”
Fangs words were said aloud and depending on the wolf’s ears he may of heard the question… regardless if he came or not with his Dart in position to counter Fang would make his way along the wooden structure into the village, starting with the eyes of the people before the rumors/worries of pirates and their locations that would linger from the civilian mouths.

As the call went out to finish up their fights quickly, Clay figured it was probably best to make a good impression on his new leader. After all, a few people were already done with their fights, and Clay didn't need his pride getting hurt so soon after joining the marines. That's right, Petty Officers have pride dammit! This battle was going the same way all the other ones had gone in Clay's life. He'd fight someone bigger, and they would use the weight to their advantage just like this, Clay hated when people were predictable like that. Made a few fights shorter at least. As the man pushed with his weight against Clay-jay's blade, the pressure was felt almost instantly. Clay shifted his own measly weight, but not towards the beast man he was fighting, instead he slipped off to the right side of the man, causing the force the pirate put into his push to send him falling forward. This had to be ended fast, and while Clay wasn't a fan of this tactic, he hated lowering himself back down to his pre-intelligence days, Clay opened his mouth and furiously began biting at the man's jugular, teeth puncturing it easily thanks to Clay's deceptive strength.
Multiple puncture wounds would help with the kill, but that taste. The taste was horrible, Clay never did like getting blood in his mouth, he was more partial to the herbivore side of his species. Despite the beautiful crimson flow, a color shared by his beloved apples, the tastes couldn't be any more different. Pulling his sword out from it's previous placement, Clay leaped back, watching the man's blood flow out. He spit a few times to try and get the disgusting taste to go away, and raised his sword up, hoping at least someone would see his sign of victory as he watched the mans body. "Served. Well-done style." Clay could finally turn his attention to the matters at hand. Hunting down the rest of the ship and taking care of business.

The wolf moved his head back slightly to avoid the bullet at it flew past. Jacques had not noticed the fact that the man he had shot had winced slightly before the shot hit. That was because he had just received a clawed palm strike to the balls. He glanced over at Jacques as the man fell down dead from the bullet. Like a wolf would not have heard someone sneaking up behind them. He had not struck the man properly because he had heard the click of a gun from the ship and saw Jacques lining up for the shot. He didn't say this of course, nor did he say anything. He merely rose to his feet and licked the blood from his claws before heading off the ship. He had heard Fang, but he would not go with him. He would walk alone for now. If he had said wolf then Fang may have gained the assistance of him, but Shikon had heard dog.
"They are good fighters I guess." he said to himself as he walked away. He had plans and those plans involved finding and killing the few pirates who had escaped. Very of them would of escaped. He had killed quite a few before the others had arrived. There could only be five or six who had escaped if that. He sniffed the air and then focused. His eyes seemed to cloud over slightly, but his ears perked up and he sniffed the air once more. The ship had a distinctive scent and the pirates all had a bit of that scent. He walked through the town sniffing the air, his ears twitching constantly. He would find them soon enough.
"Nobody escapes the wolf for long." he said calmly walking through the streets. Many people cowered away from him as he walked. He was not the most friendly looking of people. He grinned slightly. People feared him, which was good. If he could transfer those fears onto pirates then he would be truly able to achieve something as a marine.

But it flew away from her reach as bullets threatened to reach. Life goes on and rightly so, The wheel of time is turning. Like a shooting star, she'll catch them all, before the night is gone. She closed her eyes but saw the dreaded night, a stormy night, where she couldn't get away. OOC: Sorry for the wait everyone, technical difficulties have held me up. However, to mitigate that, we're going to use a different turn order. Basically you post and I'll try my best to post back to you. Once you're finished your required amount of posts, then you can exit like champs and the mission is complete. Don't hesitate to assist each other in a post though, it'll help you out.
IC:
With three people ready and able for the chase, the patrol would kick into high gear. The problem with finding these pesky pirates was that they had time to scatter. The time to scatter meant they were able to blend in with the civilians. The members remaining? Well the cowardly Captain was hiding somewhere, he couldn't have gotten too far if he wanted to run. It was safer to blend for now until he could make a proper escape. However what of others? Well, there would be four locations to explore:
Location 1: Harbour The Harbour where the Vice Admiral had docked the ship upon arrival at Commi. There were some civilians around but they seemed to keep their distance.
Location 2: The Market Within the bustling Market are people trading and buying, most likely a Pirate has infiltrated in fear, shouldn't be hard to snif them out.
Location 3: The Park Outskirts The Park's rather crowded today, so there's not much maneuverability inside the park, but the outskirts is perfect to blend in with, investigate and find that Pirate.
Location 4: Pathway to the Manor A long scenic pathway which leads to the Manor. Most of the tourists have been ignoring this path for other sights/routes. Not a bad place to stoaway yes?
Meanwhile, the remaining opponents for the Captain and Petty Officer were slain due to their quick thinking. This fleet really didn't know the word "restraint". [/style]

With a little more spitting and scratching of the tongue, Clay finally got the taste of gorilla man blood out of his mouth and prepared to take off on the real mission. The pirates were scattered all over the island, and it was up to these few marines to get moving. Strapping his sword back into place on his hip, Clay scurried down the side of the ship and looked to the possible hiding spots of the cowardly Pirates. Since it didn't seem like anyone was on the task at the moment, Clay took to the Harbor where their ship was "docked". Might as well start with the closest area. Clay wasn't up for too much walking. Keeping low to the ground around the back of the crowded civilians, Clay took careful note of all in attendance, trying to pick out any pirates that could be among them. That was an advantage of being small, he didn't have to try too hard to stay hidden. Although once seen, it was kind of hard to look away from a sword wielding raccoon.
So far the crowd around the harbor looked safe, but the pirates could be anywhere at the moment. He had to be perfectly sure that everyone here was on the level.
((OOC: Didn't look like anyone else was posting. Might as well see if it's still going :/ ))
