But it flew away from her reach as bullets threatened to reach. Life goes on and rightly so, The wheel of time is turning. Like a shooting star, she'll catch them all, before the night is gone. She closed her eyes but saw the dreaded night, a stormy night, where she couldn't get away. Across the vast blue there was a ship pulling into harbour. It was a magnificent red ship, built for speed with all the valor one could pray for. The sails were catching an excellent breeze; propelling it forward with no struggle. From its outward appearance, the ship appeared to be a Pirate Ship, in fact...when the Jolly Roger was visible; that more or less sealed the deal. Many became wary after that, attempting to mind their own business or search for a marine. When there was none insight; they decided it best to clear the area.
Manning the ship was Minako Minami, a twenty-three year old officer; freshly promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral. According to her superiors; her mission was to lead up a fleet; the ninety-ninth fleet. In Minako's eyes, it seemed as if they gave her the last fleet to spare, as in...dead last. A vein twitched along her left temple at the thought. Stuffy old men, but they did acknowledge the skills of the psychopath, even though she had calmed down after being subjecting to paper work on another Vice Admiral's fleet. Most likely this was their attempt to put a leash on her, but she'd show them! Starting with this ship that she apprehended from a Pirate crew. Instead of bringing it back to the hanger, she decided to take it as her own ship. Besides, it's not like she didn't have her choice of several nice ships to chose from. She just wanted to do things her own way, like a child wanting to be naughty in the least damaging way.
Once she was at the docks, she'd lay anchor and make sure everything was locked up just right. When she arrived on the docks, the few eyes that remained were surprised that a young...teenager...came off the ship. She stood at five foot, six inches, and had a somewhat petite frame. Her little black dress, garter belts and thigh high black boots, made her appear more like a lolita, which some of the men shot glances, while the others closed their eyes for fear of being mistook for a pedophile. The red scarf around her neck served to mask the sheath at her back, the fanny pack around her waist looking stylish, while her wakizashi sheathe was out of sight.
Pink hues scanned the coastline, surprised and disappointed that not a single marine was at the docks. Shrugging her slender shoulders; she began to walk with a sway in her hips, locking on to the first man she saw. He was sneaking peaks at her while catering to some smaller vessels. Once she got close, she turned on her heel so she could properly face him. She'd flash a warm smile, her upper torso leaning forward before her lips parted to speak:
"Excuse me sir, I'm looking for sailors; could you be a dear and tell me if you've seen any? Even if they've been lounging at a bar, that's fine too~" her voice was so sweet and innocent, just what one would expect from someone so young looking. Pity he had no idea how old she really was, or how many men she had killed with those small tender hands. No, all he could do was stutter and point to a little place along the shore, just east of her position.
"Thank you hun, keep being a good boy okay?" an odd thing to say to someone whom appeared to be twice her size and age, but she sauntered away without a second thought, her form slowly walking down the docks and veering right. [/style]

I hear voices inside, fuck the lord. It's with the devil I confide.
Another bluebird day on Commi Island. Blue skies above, without a cloud insight, and the fresh salty smell of the ocean air filled your nostrils. For a sailor, this was the life. Some hated the ocean, and in fact clung to land as though it were a precious mineral such as a diamond or pearl. But Jacques held preference for the sea, its fluidity and unpredictable nature thrilled him more than the firm ground he now stood on. The lithe framed marine saunter forth along the harbor, a finger holding a white jacket over his shoulder.
A dark black button-up fit him just swell, tucked into the white slacks that hid organization had provided him with. A golden buckle harnessing the world government ensign centered at his waistline, and gave him the facade of quite the professional. All the more deceptive, Jacques was quite trifling, and enjoyed harassing others with his ill-humor and rude attitude. Brushing his white mane from his eyes, he could see an approaching pirate ship, and decided to make haste to the location to greet the fool who so blatantly approached with his flags drawn.
Walking up the deck, he was surprised to see a small girl approaching exiting the ship. She was young, and seemed quite immature to be out by herself manning a pirate ship, or a crew nonetheless. But who cared, he wasn't here to pass sympathy for the imbecile pirate, and rather decided to grasp the handle of his magnum. Dual magnums sat on either side of his hip, making for quick access. With drawing the long barreled weapon, he quickly aimed a shot and fire. Launching a small lead bullet just to the side of the girl.
It skimmed past her face, causing a trail of wind to kiss her flesh. "Hey there cutie, where you going?" Jacques said boldy, gun still aimed upon her petite frame. He wondered who she was, and what her intentions were bringing a pirate ship into the commi island bay. Surely a fool's decision, but nonetheless he allowed her the time to explain herself. If she was lucky, he wouldn't plant a bullet in the side of her tiny skull.

The pirates had an interesting air about them and just because he brought this up after his superior heard him praise them a bit for their style; he’d abuse his power to order the warrior from the clouds above to follow the pirates and eventually hijack the ship.
The mission though it was unreasonable was moving smoothly until one morning when he woke up a bit after the pirates… they set sail for Commi Island where they could no doubt do much damage and quite possibly run the little island; Fang could only imagine hearing the loud mouth of a superior whose fleet he didn’t even serve, raining down words of failure upon his head. The scene of the Aka pirates left a bit of an smile on his face as their bodies floated there was nothing more that can be done, a simple rendezvous with the other marines would be enough right?
When he reported back to the Superior officer that they had been murdered and the ship was gone the Superior officer told Fang:
“That’s too bad the ship is gone without that ship I won’t let you anywhere near mine.”- The cold words of that Vice Admiral sent shivers up the warrior’s spine; how could he let that old man get away with it? Humiliating someone who was greater than him but just wasn’t given the chance, there was no way that he’d ever rise above Vice Admiral but there was still a chance to rub success into the face of the loud mouth Marine… He’d need that ship which bought him to the Port of Commi Island. People from the little island are rumored to be farmers and ordinarily nice people; the place was perfect for an amateur pirate crew to attempt to control.
Under not one sky but two both a beautiful and enticing blue, on the back of a large black and white scaled Koi fish the marine rushed to the island; his trusted fish killed the distance between the rest stop he visited to Commi island Port in fact the Red ship had probably been spotted only a few minutes ago when his fish surfaced. The little woman whom brought the ship was gone and the one who stand on the deck after a daring leap off of the large fish was Fang; more than prepared to take the vessel… that was until he heard an gun fire and the sound of people backing away from the scene.
”Are you serious is that a marine firing his weapon at a child?”
Fang asked himself while watching the scene and removing the black suit he wore when travelling under water, soon revealing himself standing in a normal outfit almost; he wore white pants with black shoes; and a white wife-beater with a black vest to match over it. Clearly his weapon that showed out from behind him wrapped up, not only in the black leather belt but the white obi that carried the dart as well.
”Guess I’ll go now.” The words flowed from his parted lips and fell on the ears of no one. The words were not meant for the others ears all they needed to pay attention to was vicious tribal markings that climbed along his back dripped by the hair that had been pulled back into a band after surfacing from the waters. The other marine would be able to see him approaching with an lazy aura about him; a half smile with an face that appeared older than he actually was.
”Hm…Discharging a weapon on a Port, you should know better than that by now if the young woman says you aren’t her type sir then you should understand no means no.” His deep voice would ring out from about five meters behind the girl. But it flew away from her reach as bullets threatened to reach. Life goes on and rightly so, The wheel of time is turning. Like a shooting star, she'll catch them all, before the night is gone. She closed her eyes but saw the dreaded night, a stormy night, where she couldn't get away. There were things one should not do when it concerned Minako Minami. The first was to attack her if your intention was only to tease/forewarn. Minako thrived on violence, in fact she just stopped dead in her tracks at the end of the docks. Her form visibly trembling; but it wasn't fear...it was pleasure, excitement, adrenaline high. She raised her hands up in the air, showing she surrendered, though her eyes...they went from an innocent pink; to a deranged red. That was, until she caught a sight of his belt buckle.
"You're a Marine? Ooooh, I'm sorry, I know this looks bad but I'm a Marine too. I'm uh...looking for Marines, because I need them, to join me...well, to join my fleet ahahahaha." Her voice was so sweet and innocent, it was easy to see why the other gentleman was so concerned. He had chided his fellow marine and it seemed that the Vice Admiral had gotten lucky.
"Thanks for your concern Mr...? I'm sure that he thought I was a bad girl when I got onto the docks, but I'm really not. I'm Vice Admiral Minako Minami, so let's not fight...otherwise I can't be held responsible for the consequences..." Her expression shifted to that of a nervous smile. She knew how she was, how excited she felt from the open wound on her cheek. If she had her way, she'd have charged the officer before her, continuing their little exchange until she had him on the floor, straddled between her hips, with her blade at his throat. Alas, the moment she realized he was a marine, the fun was gone. It was strange how a sense of responsibility and abiding "law", was able to keep the psychotic pink haired loli in check.
Though looks could be deceiving, take the Vice Admiral. She looked like an innocent young girl, about fourteen easily. Sure she was developing nicely and yes, she did dress in a "sexy" way, but in no way was she fourteen. She was 23 and far from innocent. The Pirates who used to own her ship?Captain and First Mate subdued and sent to Impel Down. The rest of the crew? Oh they succumbed to their injuries and were thrown into the ocean. It all happened during the night while Fang was asleep. She engaged the Aka Pirates, whom sent their fodder at her first; resulting in their deaths. It was sanctioned self defense of course; even if she did slay them easily. Then she toyed with the Captain and First Mate, having her fun with them before finally handcuffing them and sending them on their way via a warrant officer. This was back at Logue Town. The ship was due to be returned and Fang was the one to bring it back...
Of course, the ship was behind them now, comfortably anchored and not going anywhere any time soon. A gust of wind blew by, carrying her red scarf with it, before it settled against her back once more. Despite her embarrassed demeanor, at any time should the officer before her try to fire those pretty little toys of his; she'd be ready. Her hands being in the air, really meant she had better access to her Katana, but that's a secret~ At the very least, it seemed the other man, whom had tribal markings was on her side or was he? I hear voices inside, fuck the lord. It's with the devil I confide.
The name rang in his ear louder than any gunshot. Minako Minami. He had heard it more than once now in the past week, and in fact, it was his sole purpose for coming to this island. Having previously served as a rear admiral under the tenth fleet, he had been asked to be reassigned to another, "less" experienced, vessel. Jacques list of outstanding performances were apparent by the colorful pins on his white jack, which now gleamed in the sunlight. He had managed to subdue many of foe, showing true determination, and willingness to complete his goal by any means necessary.
Sighing, the ivory crowned gunner chuckled, tilting his head down briefly. The quick flick of his wrist would send the revolver spinning around his finger tip, using the trigger as an axis. A bit of a show off's trick, but nonetheless it was rather entertaining, not to say more efficient at removing any smoke that lingered in the barrel. Shoving it back down into his holster, an apparent bulge formed on his forehead. But he managed to mask his frustration, with an awkward smile. "Ballsy move there sweet cheeks. Could've gotten yourself killed," he declared, chuckling slightly at the situation.
Approaching her a bit more casually, the rear admiral continued to ignore the obviously lower ranking officer. Regardless of his means, he had addressed his superior in ill-manner, when the intent of Jacques actions were quite clear. Anyone would be clued into the fact that the girl exited the pirate ship that just docked, garnishing normal street clothes, it was easy to mistake her for a pirate. Besides, she had that touch of bloodlust that seemed to float around outlaws, it was clear by the intent in her eyes. Standing face to face with her now, it was probably best to introduce himself.
"The names Jacques Moreaux, I've been assigned as your new Rear Admiral," he began, giving a formal tone to his voice,"lucky for you, I too have that same bloodlust. I'm just a bit less consumed by it." He gave her a brief wink, and extended his hand. A peace-treaty of course, to make up for all past resentments towards one another. They had already gotten off to a rough start, and it was apparent that they would be working together for quite some time. It was at this point that he would turn to his lower ranking officer, glaring fiercely upon him.
"Dumb mutherfucker, do not question your superior's actions," he scowled. The intense glare was interrupted by a playful, he enjoyed toying with inferior officers. He once managed to make a petty officer shit his pants, what better reaction could someone get than that? No one was amused by his ill-humor, and he could care less what his fellow marines thought of it. He wasn't in it for them to begin with. He had his own selfish desires just like everyone else, he was just a bit more calculated.

It was a little after the Marine withdrew his hand from the girls that she’d feel the large palm of Fang gently rest on her head. ”It was no problem little miss. I was just doing my job.” The smile he wore now was much more relaxed and calm- a fitting expression for the Marine; his philosophy after all was live life easily and protect those who you can, obviously the other marine didn’t live by this standard considering his jacket was decorated like he was some kind of glowing billboard of achievements that probably meant the lives of others were loss.
To make matters worse he went on to try and talk down to Fang; who merely nodded and reached up to scratch his ear. “Right… With all the respect I can manage to pull together right now sir, I feel I should inform you that you’re only one… count it one rank ahead of me.” |
[/b] It was the truth after all the Rear-Admiral was a honorable position but Fang didn’t feel he should have to suck up to the RA’s after all he’d probably move up to that rank someday after he ended his lazy streak. The fact that Fang has a carefree attitude probably would stop this issue from becoming more than a simple exchange of words; the matter solely fell on the shoulders of the VA though since she clearly outranked the both of them. ”Regardless, I’ll apologize for my sharp tongue. I am Fang Sakima.” He bowed his head slightly and stepped away from the two; his new location was the side of the dock where he’d dip his finger into the water and playfully swirl it around in a combination, a code if you will for the large Koi fish that emerged from the water. ”Oi Yuki… we are taking that ship right? Can you tow it?” The fish wouldn’t budge, not even an eye would roll over to the ship… he clearly thought the Commodore was being stupid. ”Right… I’ll drive it out then.” [/style] [style=background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/4Q3Fr.gif); width:450px; height:10px; box-shadow:#000000 2px 2px 3px;][/style] [style=font-family:tahoma; font-size:10px; color:#000000; text-align:center; width:400px; padding-left:25px; padding-right:25px;] count 0000 characters commentary credit shiki @ ote[/style] [/td][/tr][/table][/center]

She closed her eyes but saw the dreaded night, a stormy night, where she couldn't get away. The young woman was curious about what went through the man's mind after she introduced herself. Often times she received awkward looks, especially from Petty officers; ensign, and even Captain's whenever she stated her rank. The fact that he took it...well, meant that her name and reputation proceeded her. When he introduced himself, his mention of bloodlust; hers in particular caused her to blush, the wink only making her face flush deeper. Still, she accepted his handshake. That allowed her to smile a bit, before she looked to the other man in the equation. He accepted her thanks, claiming he was just doing his job. That was surprising, she had not anticipated finding the people she needed so...easily. Perhaps that ballsy entrance of hers was just the trigger she needed. With introductions out of the way, before her was her Rear Admiral and a Commodore.
"I didn't think this would be so...easy. I was hoping my entrance would attract some Marines to me, but to snag my Rear Admiral, lucky~. Oh...but my superiors did not notify me that I had already been assigned a Rear Admiral; that would have made my life so much easier. Instead, they felt I should journey out and recruit as if I was a Marine Recruiter---" she then turned to the side of the docks where Fang had moved to. He was...talking to the water, but when he mentioned a ship; namely...well better to be safe than sorry.
"Excuse me Commodore Fang, exactly who's ship are you trying to drive away with? I don't mean to assume but so long as you're not referring to my ship; after all...this vessel..." she pointed her right hand to the Pirate Ship,
"...belongs to me. Actually, Rear Admiral Jacques, feast your eyes upon the vessel of the 99th Fleet! I call her...um, to be honest; I don't have a name for her it yet." She laughed nervously but marched her long legs down the docks and right in front of the ship.
"The only way you're driving this thing, is if you join my fleet. I need a Commodore anyway, what do you think Rear Admiral?" quite frankly Minako was still overjoyed that she attracted people into her fleet; without the annoying leg work. Hopefully Fang would see things her way, she could be...quite persuasive when she wanted to be. [/style]

I hear voices inside, fuck the lord. It's with the devil I confide.
The man's response didn't surprise him in the least, he was another one of those 'apathetic' marines. The kind that chose to act like they didn't give a fuck, when their actions dictated otherwise. It was ironic namely, a persona of carelessness wasn't fit for most marines, however, touching back to that topic of selfishness: everyone was in it for one benefit or another. People might claim to adhere to the Marine code because of a strong sense of justice and loyalty, but Jacques felt differently. It was just a mask they put on, and this fucked up naval organization was just a ball room masquerade.
Turning to the ship, aphotic eyes cast a scrutinizing glance at the ship, trailing it along the deck and checking for obvious obscurities. The ship was in rather good conditions to be honest, he almost wondered why such a nicely crafted ship had fallen into the hands of a group of low life pirates. The only issue was it's color scheme. Either the paint store was out of stock, or someone lacked a knack for design, because they went heavy handed on the red paint. Color judgements aside, the ship would serve properly for their fleets purposes.
When the topic arose of selecting the old man as their commodore, Jacques shrugged. To be frank, he could care less who filled the roles of their ship, as long as they stayed clear of his path and could handle their own, then he was indifferent to their admission. "I believe that's up to you Minako," he addressed her informally, only to express his desire to cooperate on a personal basis. If he was going to be apart of this crew, she needed to be viewed as a comrade rather than an acquaintance. Things could get messy if he just let her fail at her job.
Stepping away from the others, the Rear Admiral made his way up the dock and onto the shop. Examining it further for stowaways or anything akin to a pirate. The first major change necessary, was the flag. It would need a world government seal if they wished to avoid being blasted away at sea. What a pity that would be, killed by your own constituents. The thought left a bitter taste in his mouth so he let it go. Proceeding up to bow to claim his seat.
Strangely enough, he always enjoyed the bow. Feeling full force, the motion of the boat as it launched over the crests of waves and shot downwards into the trenches beneath. Climbing atop the railing he chose to sit cross legged, leaning against the a smaller mast of the ship for balance. This was perfect.

While the Marine headed up onto the ship checking it for stowaways the Commodore would be thinking of what he should do since his main plan was just to take the ship and roll around in front of the superior who dogged him in the first place about the vessel… but the ship was indeed a fine one despite the color, which after tailing it for so long had begun to grow on him. The ship had a passionate name but considering most of the pirates he found were not with the living anymore he completely doubted that she’d know; her time would be short for talking if she was the one doing all the killing after all.
”What should I do eh?” He thought of his position in the military and whether he’d like to climb higher, if so he’d need to be on a vessel the superior he always looked up to denied him so easily over something that may translate to be the woman’s fault or maybe some unknown ghost? Hell in this world even a planned rebellion gone wrong could have been the cause for the death of the Aka pirates , what mattered now is if the Commodore was going to board the ship with the little miss and the hardcore Marine.
”Yuki I’m boarding.” He’d say while motioning himself onto the back of the Koi; standing so his feet and body would not get wet while the fish led him around the ship. After observing the vessel it was indeed amazing that it could be a pirate ship even though he saw this ship up close many of times still there was no damage done to the body at all during the quick outer inspection he gave it, the cannon’s seemed brand new and there was no sign of overuse.
”Fair… I’ll join.” He’d say to the Vice Admiral when his feet would touch on the wooden dock once again. ”I’ll be keeping eye on the ship though, I’ve been watching it since its previous owners decided to take a swim.” With the flash of a lazy smile he too would step up onto the boat, for the second time taking a look around the deck… though his attention was pulled to him climbing up on the crow’s nest to get a look around the island and the other parts of the ship.

Post by Clay-Jay on Mar 8, 2012 23:02:50 GMT -5
Clay-Jay was amazed by the beauty of this island even if his face didn't show it, his face very rarely showed what he was feeling, even if he was the happiest person on the face of the earth. He had started wandering around the island quite awhile ago and hadn't seen any trace of a single marine around, not even a fellow petty officer. He decided that they must be in casual clothes, maybe it was a group day off or something, so he wanted to try his best to stand out in the crowd and get peoples attention so that they would realize he was a marine. Slipping into a bar, he walked by the bar keeper without pausing, headed straight to the bathroom and changed into his marine outfit. Taking the time to straighten up his appearance which had become slightly disheveled with all of his traveling. On his way out of the bar he left a quick pause and gave the bar keeper a small salute, "Yo." The bar keeper starred a little awkwardly and gave a click of his tongue, "If you're looking for more marines, there was a young lady out around here checking for information. Think she was recruiting or something."
Joy exploded into Clay's heart and he turned back to the bar tender with a quick appreciative nod, "Word." before he dashed out of the bar to find the young woman he had mentioned. It didn't take long to find her, standing next to two more guys and looking over a ship. It appeared to be a pirate ship, but Clay wasn't quite sure, as a Marine admiring a pirate ship was quite the new concept to the young raccoon. He shook the concern off of his back and shouldered his sword before walking up to the group. He relaxed in the back, watching them all discuss the issue of driving. Seemed the girl, owned it right now, so that would make her someone pretty special in the marines. They all looked to be pretty high up, one was mentioned to be a rear admiral and the other a Commodore. Figuring he had stood there in silence long enough, the lowly petty officer put on his most serious and, in his opinion, coolest pose and spoke a single word. "Sup."
Now would probably be a good time to point out that there were pirates here, but how would he work that out without telling them that he was a stow away. Maybe some kind of epic tale about swimming here all alone from the grand line and how he fought off 20 Sea Kings with his bare hands all while carrying 4 children to safety. Nah that's too outlandish, best bet was to just say he saw them docking up on his way here. "Petty Officer Clay-Jay, yo.There's pirates here. Just figured it was my duty and shit to point out something I saw that could be mad dangerous." Clay played it cool, keeping his voice perfectly calm and level while scrambling onto the boat to make sure he wasn't left behind. "I'll be along for the ride." Sounded so cool inviting himself on the boat right now he might even be his own biggest fan. Then again, he had millions of fans already by now. That's how cool he was as he stood on the deck of the boat, taking no particular position.

But it flew away from her reach as bullets threatened to reach. Life goes on and rightly so, The wheel of time is turning. Like a shooting star, she'll catch them all, before the night is gone. She closed her eyes but saw the dreaded night, a stormy night, where she couldn't get away. "Hmm, so we're going informal already; that's good...stuffy titles remind me of meetings with the old guys, I'm sure you've all spoken with them at some point." she said as Fang had decided to join. She nodded her head in approval, though when he mentioned pirates at sea, she flashed him such a sweet smile:
"Oh my...that's no good, they must have fallen overboard during a battle. It's fine though, I arrested their Captain and First Mate." she gave a childish giggle before a new officer came to the fray. He was...short, to say the least, but he was definitely unique. A talking raccoon, with an interesting sword to boot. Pulling out her checklist, she looked it over.
"Right, I do need a Petty officer; how about I test you all on these Pirates, what say y'all to that?" she'd say as she was the last to make it on board. She'd proceed to withdraw the boarding plank, then pull up anchor.
"Clay Jay, you'll guide me to which harbour they docked in. Then I'll send you guys out to capture our unwanted guests." she explained as she spun the wheel of the ship hard left. It began to shift as it pulled out and followed along the island. Honestly, it wouldn't be too hard to find these Pirates...they must have been brave to try and dock at a tourist location. Once they arrived, the beautiful red vessel rammed into the Pirate ship; splitting through it and causing immense damage.
"Alright, first we board and capture anyone left on the ship. Then we hunt for strays!" she called out in a completely energetic voice. Though she would already be intending to hop off, following the front end of their vessel, as her feet landed on enemy territory.
Naturally the Shipwright would be on-board, along with the cook, and the doctor. If they were a bit wealthier, they'd have a musician too...oh the thought of combat made her fingers curl and uncurl. As for where the listed personnel where, that'd be up to the newly christened 99th Fleet to find!

I hear voices inside, fuck the lord. It's with the devil I confide.
Obliged to follow the orders of his new vice-admiral, Jacques merely nodded, implying of his approval. Remaining at the bow of the ship, he would be the first to watch as the docked pirates came into few. He dismissed the thought, he'd encountered hundreds of pirates, and this wouldn't be anything different. Their apprehension had become somewhat of a routine, and he knew both the rules and methods of their detention.
With his jacket barely over his shoulders, the empty sleeves would flap in the breeze. They had finally departed from this portion of the island. He felt at easy, the swaying of the ocean beneath him. A particular fire began to burn in his eyes, this was what he lived for. The excitement of the unknown, and the inability to control the outcome of the events to come. This was his home.
ooc: short post, going to bed.

What brought him back to earth was the sudden movement of the boat and the strange creature dressed like a marine that has boarded the ship… regardless of its purpose though with the ship now moving all Fang would do is take a seat and sigh waiting for the crazy little miss to lead them in whatever direction she saw fit, if she needed some directions then he’d take over.
”Well I guess this is what it is like to be part of a crew.”

The pirate ship had stayed parked exactly where Clay-Jay had remembered it, right there in the same dock. You would think they would find a better, less obvious place to park it, but if they hadn't noticed he was even there for such a long trip, and even missed the part where he snuck off without so much as a slight glance in his direction, they weren't smart. Clay-Jay was actually really amazed they made it here following his directions, he was usually horrible at that kind of thing. As their ship smashed into the Pirates, Clay was jostled forward and did a strange sort of roll to the back of the ship, which he was luckily able to stand out of. This turned it into a rather cool evasive action of some kind that he totally did on purpose as his serious face showed. He barely caught the end of Minako's speech before she leaped off the boat to begin the confrontation.
Clay scurried up to the front and readied his sword, prepared to jump over after the others, but found that he was the first one to actually be prepared. "Hmpf." was all Clay said when he saw the higher ranks, before following the boss over the front of the boat. It had been awhile since he had a decent fight, and one good rumble would definitely up his cool factor among the crew. Was time to get busy, Clay thought as he landed in a battle ready pose, sword held with both hands out in front of him watching for sign of attack. They were in the thick of it now.
OOC: Higher ups lollygagging and shit Psshhh XD

[/style] [style=background-color: #333333; font-family: verdana; font-size: 10px; color: #C5C5C5; text-align: justify; width: 450px; padding: 9px;]It'd been awhile since the female marine had been back to Commi Island, but now she was going to be stationed here hopefully having a fleet underneath her belt as well. However, today she was peacefully enjoying the atmosphere here. The wind caressed her long dark hair as she sat on top of a cliff top, her legs pulled up in front of her with her head leaning on her knees some as she looked out over the ocean until it disappeared into the horizon. The waves gently caressed the shore, the sound resonating in her mind. She could enjoy it here. She hadn't relaxed like this in forever, pretty much ever since she joined the marines. But, perhaps it was too calm here for her liking for who she wanted to be. She wasn't one to really slack off, she wanted something to do. As she found herself sitting alone on top of a hill top that overlooked the ocean she found herself restless and soon stood up. Straightening out her knee length skirt that was matched with a white tank top; not her usual outfit though. As she looked out at the horizon again she saw a red ship coming in along the horizon. She watched it for awhile until it came close enough so that she could see the pirate symbol on its flags. What were pirates doing here? Well, at least it would give her something to do. She was a ways from the dock; it wasn't like she could just jump down from the cliff, it was too high up. Though she found some adrenaline in the recklessness of doing it. However, she would run back along the cliff the way she had come up; a path led through some trees and soon to the dock. She managed to arrive at the dock after the boat had undocked and turned itself, that was when she saw another ship. A pirate ship. The red one seemed to be heading straight towards the other one! Pirates attacking pirates? The wind blew through her hair and ruffled her skirt as she stood at the end of the dock, watching. However, she wasn't unequipped, her swords were carried upon her back always at the ready. Her eyes watched as the red one rammed into the other ship, splitting it some. What in the world was going on? She needed to check it out. She happened to see a small boat tied to the dock and jumped into it, slashing the rope with her sword that she quickly drew from the sheath. She quickly rowed towards the boats and when close enough jumped up onto the red one, landing on the deck she unsheathed her two butterfly swords waiting for a pirate or two or three to spot her, but as she looked around there was hardly anyone on the ship. "Hello?" she called, a bit taken back. She was reeling for a fight.[/style] [style=background-color: #333333; font-family: ms gothic; font-size: 10px; color: #C5C5C5; text-align: center; letter-spacing: 2px;]WORD COUNT 481 • 99TH FLEET • MADE BY SCOTT OF ON THE EDGE[/style] |
