Though she was still new to this ‘pirate’ business, Hotaru was no stranger to how pirates operated. Shaking down shopkeepers for discounts and freebies, and just generally being a pain in the ass to whichever town had been taken under their grog soaked wing. As someone once on the other end of this system, Hotaru was no fan of pirates taking control of a city by force.
Still, control of a land did reap certain...benefits; perks that were becoming more and more desirable the longer she thought about them. It was because of these benefits that Hotaru would go to the ruler of Lyneel Kingdom with a proposition. Financial assistance in exchange for protection. The pirate captain strolled fearlessly into the mostly empty throne room of the King of Lyneel with a bold request. A single man sat atop a luxurious chair in front of a gorgeous stained glass window staring down at the pirate captain, the sunlight from outside the castle casting brilliant colorful shapes against the marble floor.
“Your highness, I come to you with a request. In the age where pirates run rampant through the blues, we, the Sea Kings, offer you protection from more destructive crews in exchange for a show of generosity from your shopkeepers. Though your army may be great on foot, no one can match our prowess at sea. We assure you that we will not pillage your towns or rob your ports. I just think it might be better if we were friends”
The red haired woman would stand steadfast before the throne of the King, her retractable spear in her left hand. Would it really be this easy? [/font]

2 Days passed. Thread only open to Sea Kings and NPCs
The King sat in silence, simply staring down at the the red headed pirate captain. She couldn't even guess at what was going through his head. Did he think her proposition was fair? Or was he simply contemplating the best way to get rid of her. Either way, Hotaru had some help waiting outside the throne room; members of her crew who could help convince the king by force if necessary.
However, a diplomatic solution made the most sense. Less life lost and a mutually beneficial solution for both sides. After All, the Sea Kings were more than capable of protecting the Kingdom from naval assaults presented by other crews. The only question now was: would his pride get in the way?
"So your highness. Do we have a deal?"

I've been asked to be the bad guy inform you that this capture is invalid. The capture system it currently on the list of systems to be redone and at this time we ask that you be patient in your territorial expansion. Bear with us, and we'll have something out for you shortly. Thanks! <3
