"I'm surrounded by idiots......every single last one of them are worthless brain dead monkeys..." grumbled a very upset figure as he stood at the helm of the ship he had taken to arrive at Commi Island, he was one Victor T. Brzezinski and was one of the Marines many Scientist though a rare cybernetic member of the scientific community. He had requested to be stationed in the East Blue to become one of the members of Fleet 99, though of course he had to actually get transferred there from Marine HQ due to finishing up his training and such at the location as few places were equipped to create cyborg AND train scientist.
Thus for two infernal weeks he was stuck on a ship full of marines with the collective intellect of a single lab rat and the common sense of a three year old child, he absolutely hated dealing with fresh recruits in most fields as they were far too annoying not to earn his desire to dissect the whole lot of them. Worse still since he was one of the few with medical training on the vessel he was subjected to actually ensuring the continued health of the fools, thus he felt he had suffered insult to injury right then and there as so many so called 'illnesses' were simply the common side effect of long travel at sea and the men were just being babies.
So once the spotter in the crow's nest had called out 'land ho!' he was rather pleased as he would be able to get off this ship and away from those idiots, he knew that the Marines needed more men and women but they could of at least kept a standard to be filled instead of taking every able body they could find. Once the ship had reached the dock he was one of the first to get off the ship, as all he carried with him was the clothes upon his back and the doctor's bag he carried at his side. Thus after his feet had touched the dock's wooden surface he briskly moved away from the Marine ship, he noticed he was currently at one of the larger towns of the Commi Island chain and so was not too far away from where the famous Manor and parks of the Commi Islands could be found.
He had little interest in them though and headed toward the market place to see if they had anything interesting for him to purchase, he would admit that at times the civilian population are able to acquire odd plants and animals with their efforts and he would be foolish to pass up a chance to see what they found. As he walked he would notice quite a few eyes were upon him, most likely due to his rather shady attire and the fact his left hand was shining in the sunlight. He ignored it for now while wondering if anything of interest might happen today.....he honestly wouldn't even mind a proper fight at the moment.
[Since this is my very first post, I did not think I had to do a traveling topic to get here as I will start out in this blue. But if I am incorrect feel free to tell me in a Pm and such, I am sorry if this causes any trouble for the staff]

Victor would soon arrive at the market place he planned to search through and was quick to pass up on some of the more mundane stalls that had just simple foods like home grown vegetables as he wished to find the exotic items. He would pass by fish stands which reeked of the stench of countless different kinds of the marine animals though the scent of salt as well was in the air, he soon though found his target when he passed a stand selling exotic herbs and spices as sometimes the items hold hidden biological effects and chemicals under their flavor and aroma.
He was soon though the only person at the stand other than the owner due to the unpleasant aura he seems to give off unintentionally, he would then at times pick up random small amounts of spices or take tiny samples of the herbs to run through his internal workings to learn more about the plant or minerals that make up the substances. After about an hour of sampling and analyzing the items he soon ordered five pounds of different spices and herbs for his use, he took the money he would need out of the fund he was given to finance his research though he used it sparingly for anything other than sample acquisition due to how low the fund is for now.
Once finished he took the bundles of bags and containers he was given for the different orders and had them get bound together to allow him to carry it as a single object. After the process was completed he turned and left the stand but did say to the owner "Keep up the good work with your trade and I just might become a return customer......always looking for the best samples...." With that he continued to look through the market place to see if he could find anything else of use, his bundle of herbs and spices carried under his right arm.

And while he wasn't headed directly to his home it still brought a bubbling heat to his blood, he loathed the place, and to make matters worse they were headed to Commi Island. A tourist trap full of nothing of true value in his eyes. Just another means for some to fill their pocket with beri. Clicking his teeth together as the ship he was currently placed upon began it's docking measures he'd spit out to the dock, rather then insult the ocean with such a mark of disrespect. The first to leave the vessel Sharkk would straighten his jacket before quickly leaving the dock that was not even designated for Marine use only. Recently he had been seeing too many things that heated his usual cool frame, he felt like the Marines themselves were becoming more and more of a joke to Pirates and other criminals, not only that, but the respect from the civilians? Forget about it. Rubbing his temples as he continued on he just reminded himself within his mind that he had a plan ready to be set in motion at any time to deal with it all and release him from the confines of the mockery that was the Marines. But, could he really just up and betray the corps he had been with since he was of age? Yes, yes he could. Walking through the markets did little, but bring power to his growing headache. As such he began to wonder why he even left the ship. Turning on his heel he quickly aimed to go back to her confines, that was before he found himself bumping into a familiar face...Victor Brzezinski...a man he rarely talked to, but one who clearly needed to watch where he was going. "Watch yourself scientist..."

[/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Victor was now walking through the market place with a small amount of what one might be able to call mild amusement or maybe he was just having an tiny chemical high from his own cybernetics. But either way though it was soon stopped when he bumped into something as he was looking down to check on his samples, he didn't really even stumble when it happened due to his heavy weight but did take an involuntary step back as he heard the impactee say "Watch yourself scientist.."
Hmm that voice oh why oh why does that voice seem ever so gratingly familiar to Victor....like the sound of a bug buzzing in his ear for the last half hour and has avoided being crushed for an infuriatingly long amount of time. This alone caused him to adjust his goggles with his cybernetic hand as he soon saw it was a fellow Marine it seemed, it took him a moment to place the name in his head due to Victor's lack of social interactions but soon the name and picture of this man popped in his head.
Oh right he had suffered through a few marine training classes with this male in the past and so had read his file along with the other classmates he was stuck with...this caused Victor to then say "Oh it is you....one of my fellow classmates during I believe marksmanship training.......what was your name....Sparkk....Markk....no not those....*taps his chin through his jacket in thought* Oh right Sharkk wasn't it.......seems you are as grumpy as ever. Still going around using those little toy guns of yours to scare the fresh meat into doing what you say and leaving you alone? So what brings you here anyway, I recall you loathed this area..." Victor had heard stories and so was not fully ignorant of what some marines does....and to be frank he wasn't worried in the slightest about Sharkk's reaction.
Oh sure he admits that the man is a better shot than himself but then again Victor never was one for range fighting and was sure that at this distance accuracy was not a major factor if a fight broke out, he waited for the male to respond to his words and his question...be it a verbal or physical one.

Yet as his words hinted that he was leaving, he stood his ground. Eyes focused on the face of the cyborg awaiting a witty response. Honestly he welcomed another insult, another cheap jab at making fun of Sharkk...Yet, the reaction the next time would no doubt be violence. Sharkk was known for his short temper when it came to those he considered "dogs". No matter the species, rank, anything, if one was disrespectful, honorless, and or an overall ignorant fool they were a "dog" to him. As such they needed to be treated as such, and even though a Marine stood before him, he was a "dog", scientists held importance in their ranks, but not when they were like this one. Victor listened to what Sharkk said to him only to begin to chuckle a bit as he then said "Freeze in your circuits Tin man?....Kishkishkishkish...oh that was a good one I'll make a note to remember that little number in the future.....now then lets see you are trying to pull rank on me now is that it.....?" Victor tilted his head a bit as he stared at Sharkk through those thick goggles of his, the expression he had completely hidden by them along with his lab coat covering the lower half of his face.
He then sighed and shook his head as it was clear that Sharkk was indeed being serious and thus he said "Well I see a few issues with that little approach.....being that I am part of the Science Branch and not the military per say my rank is not as set as yours. It goes up and down depending on how important I am and how valuable my research is. Also as you can see the Marines sank a fair bit of time and money into me to have me undergo the process required to turn a human into a cyborg. Which I am sure even one of your limited Scientific know how would understand is a complex and costly affair.....thusly using that logic I am just as if not more important to the Marines than yourself a man who simply undergone the minimum required training to become a Lieutenant...."
Victor took a moment to allow this information to sink into Sharkk's tiny little brain before continuing as such with his logical and verbal debate "Furthermore Mr Sharkk to be quite honest I am not all that concerned with rank when dealing with others, of course I will be civil toward those like the Admirals, Vice-Admirals and those of equal or greater station.....but I do not respect a single being in this entire Marine organization. It makes no logical sense for me to respect one due to rank, I respect one when they earn it or have done deeds I deem worthy of respect. I have heard little of any of your exploits other than your rather volatile temper.....so if you wish for me to treat you with greater respect you will have to earn it."
Victor then turned around and walked toward a stand before setting his items down, he told the stand owner that if he touched that bundle he would personally extract the man's brain and add it to his collection. He then walked back to Sharkk and stood a formal three feet away and then said "Oh and Mr. Sharkk....if you would be so kind as to remember that if you ever threaten me again like that.......I'll joyfully break every bone in your arms and legs and study you to see how long it takes for a human to die from such severe injuries without medical attention...."
And with the cyborg's carelessness of giving up his back and walking away along with speaking to the vendor, Sharkk would act. Before the cyborg Scientist could finish his threat aimed at the vendor Sharkk had pulled Terror from it's confines within his jacket and began to open fire. Yet no loud bang came from the flintlock-esque pistol, no, it was almost silent, for what gun could truly be silent? Instead of firing a small round orb of lead it shot a miniature kunai/harpoon that threatened to decorate the cyborg Scientist's back as he carelessly continued to speak to the vendor. Ten meters separated them, and with the cyborg's back to Sharkk he was nigh certain one of the four shots fired off from his single pistol would hit it's mark. Victor actually did hear the gun due to the fact flintlocks use gunpowder and no matter how you try to work with that little powder it is one loud little weapon. Also it did help that since they were in a populated area that the surrounding people reacted to a drawn gun the same way most would, the people around the area gasped while the vender Victor was talking to actually dived for cover leaving the Scientist to think 'He's no better than a pirate...'
Victor of course though did react as the people's reaction to a drawn gun gave him about maybe a second at most of extra time before the bullets were fired, he jumped over the stand to dive behind it as well though while in mid-air two bullets did hit home before he could get behind the wood. One buried itself right in his right shoulder while the other hit his left though that one didn't do as much if any damage, considering he was completely mechanical from that shoulder down to the finger tips with high grade metal.
Sharkk did indeed get the first hit in and this stand, while made of thick wood, would last for a little bit it wasn't going to truly work forever. So he looked to the panic stricken vendor that was hiding next to him and looked the man over, the male was a bit beefy but not overly so much like Sharkk was and thus most likely not too heavy for a male.
This caused Victor to grin inwardly as he used his left hand to grab the human as he stood up, he picked the male up and noted he felt around 180 pounds and so comfortably within his weight lifting range. He moved the vendor's now lifted up body between himself and Sharkk to use the guy as a human meat shield, the vendor quickly screaming for help as he struggled to get free of the Cyborg's cold steel fingers to little effect.
Victor now started to move toward Sharkk in an attempt to close the distance, constantly ensuring to have the vendor in position to be used to take a shot for him. All the while trying to ignore the sharp stinging pain in his right shoulder from the bullet fired into him by his foe.......damn cowardly bastard...
[will edit if told to, but really silenced flintlock weapon from the start....boy please =\]

And now with the Cyborg dragging the vendor along, Sharkk would grit his teeth before turning to his left and walking down a different alley. "Tsk, pathetic." Out right attacking one of his own, no matter the cause, he'd be branded a traitor, but he was not about to just kill an innocent, not yet, not now. And while he vanished into an incoming crowd of tourists the thought that he'd have to rush his plans of going rogue filled his mind, slowly polluting all the good that was left inside of him.

[/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote] //exit [Didn't mean for it to come off as silencer-ish, just that I didn't think that a gun that fires mini-harpoons/kunai would be on any level of sound that a normal flintlock was.]

Victor heard the pathetic comment directed at him and simply said to himself more than anyone else "Says the one that shoots a man when his back is turned.....tis only giving you a taste of your own medicine. Nothing more I hate than a hypocrite....." It was then that he noticed that Sharkk had indeed put away his weapon and turned to leave the area down another alley, Victor knew that the Marine should be brought in for attacking a fellow officer without just cause but to be frank the good Doctor was a bit too concerned with his own current situation to worry about being a law keeper.
Setting the obviously still freaked out vendor he then watched the man run for it while he himself walked back to his supplies and picked out a few herbs he had bought, he knew a few of them were medicinal by nature and would use it to help him with a current issue. He reached behind his back with his left hand after putting the herbs down and started to grab around, only once he felt his cold fingers find the bullet wound did he start to grind his metal teeth together to make a horrible scrapping sound. He was trying to grab the projectile inside of his skin and pull it out..
To be quite honest mechanical or not this was down right painful and Victor made a mental note to work on increasing his endurance by maybe dulling his nerve endings toward feelings of pain and the like. He was interested in such an idea but every thought was punctuated by the sound of blood squishing out from around his fingers, it took a good three minutes to finally find the infernal bullet and pull it out in one piece. With that done he ripped up some of the herbs he had and put the shredded mess into his bullet wound, the sting causing him to hiss like a deflating tire before he ripped his coat's right sleeve just enough to make a proper patch to be placed over the wound. Wasn't a perfect fix but would do for now.....and he still had more work to do this day....
