[/font] • personality[/font] ever since birth, alaska has been something of a goody-two-shoes. in his upbringing, he took on this tattle-tale phase but has long matured from such tactics. nowadays, he's brave enough to stand up against the unethical. he joined the marines for this exact reason, actually. with a proper disposition on justice, alaska makes certain he always looks his finest. hygiene is something of dire importance to the young marine. he understands that the kiss of death is always around the corner, but his breath might as well be minty. the petty officer is actually quite charming. even when faced with the most ferocious marine, he can usually make them slip a smile. alaska isn't the most trusting, but he's usually willing to do whatever the superior officer tells him. he's an idealistic and hopes to someday retire with tons of moneybags, women, and peace. of course, this means that he's not the most sound marine on a ship. he's not quite rational either, which might disqualify him from any major positions. in the world of marines, he's quite the average soldier if not a bit scrawny. however, his spirit for justice often shines through. • weaponry[/font] trained since a youngster, alaska is quite proficient in combat with tonfa. his main weapons are two wooden tonfa that reach to his elbows when held normally. on the ends, adjacent to the hilt, there's a small iron covering in case he needs to smash some jaws. he approves to use this than the standard firearm given to officers. • accessories[/font] ever since he was a child, alaska has been nearly inseparable with a paperboy cap that his father bought for him. the darker than khaki cap is a bit tattered but manages to fit still . the marine also has a compass dear to his heart. he has no serious intentions of becoming a navigator like his father, but the item keeps him close to home. both items are very much his treasures.

• power LEVEL ONE - At this level, your strength is average, if not subpar. You are able to lift your own weight, but can only throw half of it. Physical attacks dealt lack real power, causing bruising with blunt weapons and shallow slashes with blades. With average strength, a person cannot break through much of anything, save for a wooden door or the such when body mass is applied.
• stamina LEVEL ONE - At this level, a person's endurance is average, and they have a low threshold for pain. They often don't last more than a few minutes in a fight, and grow sluggish as combat ensues and more damage is dealt. With an ordinary level of stamina, they have little resistance to elements and the such.
• agility LEVEL ONE - At this level, a person has average speed and reaction time. They are able to run at 6.7 meters per second in short bursts, and have a reaction time capable of evading melee attacks and some ranged ones, assuming the ranged attack has the proper accuracy. Like most people feints are somewhat easy to read, and sword strikes can be followed without a lot of issue.
• accuracy LEVEL ONE - At this level, a person's accuracy is average. They can keep up with the movement's of someone moving at average speeds, and have little knowledge of weak spots, save for the obvious ones on the exterior. With this level of accuracy, a person's range of sufficiency is about ten meters, meaning attacks out of that range rarely hit.
• intelligence LEVEL ONE - With an average intelligence, a person is unable to learn navigational or medical skills. At most they might be able to follow a treasure map, or put a bandage on an injury. A person with this level of intelligence is far from inventing, and usually does create new tools or uses for existing ones.
• spirit LEVEL TWO - At this level, a person has an above average fighting spirit, and can gain small boosts to their performance for a short duration, no longer than a couple posts. They are considered to have tougher resolution, and don't give up easily.

TECHNIQUE NAME: Sanam (Merit). LEVEL: One. ATTRIBUTE: Spirit. DESCRIPTION: When in critical conditions during a battle, Alaska can experience an adrenaline built mainly from his will to survive. His power attribute will multiply twofold, while his vitality attribute be divided twofold. Essentially, he sacrifices most if not all his defense for extra energy to fight. PRICE: Freeeeeeeeeee. C:
TECHNIQUE NAME: Scanner Darkly. LEVEL: One. ATTRIBUTE: Accuracy. DESCRIPTION: Very much a lookout technique. Upon squinting, Alaska can shift his vision to further distances than the normal man. This increased vision surely doesn't have the magnitude of a binoculars but comes quite close to a normal pair. It saves the trouble of having to lug one of those things around, for sure. In darkness, this technique can also pick up on shiny or faint glimmers. It isn't a night-vision ability whatsoever, though. The technique can be used every other post. It's something of an instant ability with the heightened sense lasting for about two seconds each time. PRICE: Freeeeeeeee. C:
TECHNIQUE NAME: Tonfa Tornado. LEVEL: One. ATTRIBUTE: Strength. DESCRIPTION: Rotating the tonfas' hilts, Alaska kneels down and raises the outstretched weapons.Then, kicking his feet off the ground, he launches himself, spinning, towards his opponent. This move is very much a power move, capable of knocking back an opponent a couple of yards. This move is also full of weaknesses. Tonfa Tornado doesn't take much prep time, but can be sidestepped or taken advantage of otherwise. Alaska is pretty much vulnerable when in mid-air. PRICE: Freeeeeeeee. C:
