This dolling herself up thing was quite the pain. Lilith had always been perfectly fine with how she looked naturally. And to tell the truth, she was. Her skin was young and smooth, her features soft and kind, her body petite and toned. But tonight was different. She couldn't risk the man not taking the bait, and makeup seemed like it could accentuate her positive qualities. But even then, she kept it soft, powdering her face lightly. The final touches were put into place and she finished her lipstick, a nice cherry to match her outfit.
When Lilith was ready, she looked at herself in the mirror. Her red outfit was nice and fit well, her eyes glowed a bright powder blue from beneath her darker eyelashes, and her lips matched magnificently. All in all. Everything fit together well. The girl picked up her bag, a black item meant to sling over the shoulder. Its square shape was a bit mysterious, but shouldn't be too out of place. Its real purpose was to hide her katana. She would probably need it if all went according to plan.
So Lilith set out, ready for whatever was coming to her. The man they called "the rose stalker" would probably be lurking somewhere, waiting for the odd wife to wander around a corner to get milk or a servant girl off on an errand. Those were the real victims. They had no choice but to listen to their mistresses or masters even if they sent them into harms way. It irked the marine captain greatly.
But now she found herself wandering the street, looking for no place in particular, but she figures she would head in the general direction of the market for the time being.

Zeek packed up his equipement, wrapping the chain of his shortsword around his left fist, leaving enough room for his hand to be stuffed into his pocket, as the sword remained sheathed at his side. He sighed, as he placed a gentle kiss on his sister's head in her sleep. She had fallen asleep after the meal he had prepared, she needed her rest, with the burns still blazingly obvious on her body. Turning, he grabbed the Wanted Poster he had nabbed from a local bulletin board, gripping it tightly.
The 'rose stalker', a man known to prey upon young, beautiful women. His sister would have been one of those victims, had it not been for that incident. He left the house quietly, locking the doors and windows tightly, to offer what protection he could to his sister before leaving. She was all he had left now, and he had to protect her. Today's 'catch' would not only go towards saving his sister's fragile life, but also towards food and rent, as well as getting rid of some of the scum that walked this world.
He turned down the alley, the gloam of the city's enternal 'night' hanging overhead, closing in on the city. It was, unusual, for him to be wary, even now as he was hunting someone for a bounty. He had to be careful, a stalker was known for their ability to hide and run away unseen. He'd have to keep his eyes peeled, and hopefully not be seen before he could spot the stalker.
Looking at a nearby wall, he leapt from the ground, latching onto it with his bare hands, fox tail swishing in growing excitement.
"Let the hunt begin."

The darkness closed in. The time had transitioned from late afternoon to night, but there was no real difference that could be measured. Perhaps the clouds of smog overhead were a bit darker, but overall, nothing changed. That was the problem here. If light were able to oust this sicko, then the women wouldn't have to worry. But that was impossible here, in this place so thick with industry that no life could thrive naturally. Horrible is the word that came to mind.
And now she found herself among darkness like this, acting as bait to this criminal so she could cut him down and drag him to his retribution decided by the government. So so far away from her home in the beautiful, cool snow. The corner ahead of her had a light out, casting the entire edge of the road. It sent a chill down her spine to think that he could be right around the corner lurking and waiting for her. Unconsciously, her hand tightened around the strap around her shoulder.
But when she turned that corner, there was no one there. She breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that it made no sense that she was relieved. After all, the woman was out there searching for this man and hoping he would attack, not trying to avoid him. It wouldn't do if she just ran back home now. Summoning up her courage, Lilith walked down the street some more. She could see the market in the distance, lit by the high lamps. But before her was at least one hundred meters of almost completely unlit street.
There must have been a power surge nearby that caused all the bulbs to blow... Hesitantly, Lilith strode silently into the darkness, hoping she would be able to feel him coming.

It was another pitch-black night on the island of Illusia. It was almost always night, however, due to the constant smog that covered the skies. The only thing keeping this town lit were the street light and building lights. In such a dark world, dark beings were expected to thrive. One of these dark beings was a man that had become known as the Rose Stalker. A mysterious man that preyed on unsuspecting beautiful woman. Restrain and assault them, leaving a rose behind as his victims were left to suffer. it was difficult to find and catch him too because he always wore a mask to prevent his victims from identifying him. A town where its women were left to be victims for a man who could and would violate them in any way possible. Would another victim be added to the list tonight?
In a section of town, an electrical surge occurred, causing all the lights in the district to blow out. It would leave any woman wandering the blindness of the darkness almost completely helpless should the stalker be wandering around again. One such woman would be a young dolled up girl who ventured into the darkness from the well lit streets. One could not imagine what she could be thinking by doing such a thing with the Rose Stalker around. Was she asking to be assaulted tonight? As the young lady roamed the streets, a shadowy figure would loom in watch from a nearby alleyway. It was a man of average height with a brown coat covering his body. He would have his hands in his coat pockets as he looked through a simplistic metal mask at the young lady walking the streets. It was the Rose Stalker. He had set out to find a new target this eve, but instead the target came to him. Oh how the fates shined on him he thought. Once the woman would pass the alleyway, he would slip out on to the pitch black street, be careful with his footsteps to not make a sound. Doing so could alert the young lady and make assaulting her all the more difficult. However, he didn't see there being much struggling happening with how she looked.
She looked like the perfect target, making his task all the more simple. Even a skirt to make it better. As the man followed silently behind her, he would take out a small item to start. It was a small rope with two metals balls attached at each end. It was meant to be thrown and wrap around her legs, keeping them tied to prevent her from walking. He would hold it above his head and swing it around a couple times before tossing it at her ankles. He expected it to wrap around her legs, causing her to trip. At that point he would rush over and pin her down using his body weight before doing the dirty deed. A simple plan, but for someone as successful as he has been, it didn't have to be completely complicated. He would rush forward with his plan in mind, ready to violate the unsuspecting victim and leave her traumatized. ------------ (OoC: It was not specified in how she was dressed, so it is assumed that she is wearing a skirt to be a better target for the NPC unless otherwise noted. Will change if asked)

Zeek made his way onto the top of the building, stretching his arms in relief as he began to run along the rooftops. The only sound he could hear was the gentle padding of his boots against the stone material. From this height he could see a lot, save for when the smog decided to dip down in certain spots. For these, he held his breath, and let his goggles do their work. The street lights below him were lit, for the most part, poor placement in itself, or just the fact some bulbs were old, created patches of darkness here and there.
He sighed, as he leaped from one building to the next, latching onto a wall and climbing up.
'This is gonna be the death of me one day, if I keep up with these damned stunts.'
Once he had mounted the building, he was affored a grand look over the city, as he crouched near the edge of the building. The smog rolled overhead, as he gazed over the city, noticing something a little off. Just a few blocks over, lay an area of darkness, like an island among a sea of lights. Climbing down to an easier height, he leaped for the next building, and quickly traversed his way over to the darkness.
'If that bastard is going to be anywhere, it'd probably be where the light's weakest. Scum like that thrive in the darkness, and this town just supplements their needs. If it didn't have good doctors, I wouldn't be here. I'd take Sylvia and leave this place, take her somewhere safe.'
He grew closer and closer to the darkened alley, his feet carrying him across the rooftops.
"Just don't let me be too late if he's there."

As Lilith took a few steps into the darkness, her scar started to burn. It often did so as she got nervous or knew danger was closing in. Not entirely effective of course, but then it was better than absolutely nothing. A chill crept into the air, sending a shiver down the spine of the girl wearing red. Turning quickly, she looked into the shadows, seeing nothing more than she had before. But there was someone near by. She could feel it.
But still, her journey continued on. If she turned around and walked back into that same creepy darkness, what would change anyway? If he was following her, then she would walk right into him. A few more meters and she had a small premonition. Something would come at her feet. This quick warning gave her just enough time to move a bit and cause the rope device thing to wrap around only one leg. It still threw her off balance and caused some issues, but now she knew the direction he was coming from.
A black shade proved her to be correct. He was over in the direction she was looking. But the weights on this rope thing were heavy. With practiced efficiency, she reached back to grab her sword. Only to find it wasn't where she intended. Her bag had, in her nervousness and attempt to dodge, fallen off her shoulder and ended up on the ground next to her.
She knelt quickly and plunged her hand into the bag, feeling the handle of her sword. A quick unsheathing later, and she was at least able to defend herself, though her movements would be slowed until she could find the time to cut these things off her leg. The stalker could be anywhere, a phantom in the darkness. Good thing Lil had trained to battle these horrors.

The girl was quick and smart. She turned and just narrowly avoided being complete caught in the stalker's trap. The device wrapped around one leg, allowing her to still move. However, the device still had some weight to it, so he could use that to his advantage. Once the girl noticed that he was around, the stalker quickly dashed to the side, moving around her. It was incredibly dark here, making visibility minimal. The stalker had in his mind that the girl would not be able to see him easily, which would still make her an easy target. The question was how to go about his next move. The Rose Stalker prided himself on his work, and was not about to get sloppy. Still trying to blend into the darkness and keeping his footsteps silent, the stalker went around to get to her right side. He figured that he just tried a sneak attack from behind. It's a person's most vulnerable spot to be attacked from. The girl would probably expect another back attack from someone like him.
As the Rose Stalker got into position, he noticed the girl get down and reach into her bag that had fallen on the floor. Now was the perfect chance for him. The stalker rushed forward at her, only to notice she was pulling out a katana. So she was armed too? Cautious and dangerous; not the best combo for the Rose Stalker to deal with. The plan was that as she got up to go on the defensive, he would use his body weight to force her to the ground by colliding with her. He would then try to grab her wrists to keep her from attacking, or from slicing him up with that katana. His body weight should suffice to keep her restrained on the ground while he turned her into his next victim before fleeing. He needed to get a move on though because the power outage would not last forever. If the power returned before he completed his task, he would need to lure her into an enclosed space where she would not be able to move easily. It would be a lot of work, but the perfect victim should not be the easiest.
The stalker noticed that the girl was not in a complete state of panic by the way her face looked. That confused him greatly since she was in direct confrontation with the man that did horrible things to girls one would expect that someone in her position would show a decent amount of fear and start being reactive. However, this girl seemed quite calm and focused, which gave the stalker a bad feeling in his gut. It wasn't that he was completely worried, as how could a woman like this best a genius like him. The situation just seemed off. Still, it would not deter his plan to overpower her, so he continued forth without hesitation.
