Haruki blinked. Was this the place? This large, open area that had practically no cover? Like, seriously, this had to be wrong. The kid that had seen him check through his wanted posters said he had seen one of them around here. The sun was right above him, so it would be around noon. Or so he thought. He was wearing his sunglasses because of the sun, and therefore had no problem looking up at it for a second. He shaked his head as he looked at the wanted poster the boy had pointed at. A female pirate named Hotaru Satsuma. 28 million beri in Bounty. She was a part of the Sea Kings, a crew he had never heard about. He sighed.
Suddenly, he noticed something. He was standing in plain sight. God damnit. Anyone could be watching him from where he was positioned. Maybe he had walked into a trap? He turned around, looking all over the place. For all he knew there could be someone hiding anywhere here. Heck, a small hill that was barely noticeable would be the perfect hiding place. Or a random car wreckage. He tugged the rope holding his Harpoon gun to make sure it was attached properly, while his other hand moved slightly over his swords and his easy to ignore slingshot. He did not like this place.
OOC: fight fight fight! no death no looting remember that. Oh, please bear with my sucky posts.

Streeeeeeetch
Her body sprawled out on the plush, knee high grass in the middle of the field; restless after a cat nap in the sun. Picking herself up, she sat up and ran her fingers through her hair, taming a few unruly curls and brushing some grass back into the field. Violet eyes scanned her surroundings, looking to see if anything had changed since she laid down.
Her gaze settled on the addition of a boy about her age to the meadow, who was frantically checking his weaponry and looking like he suddenly did not want to be in the middle of the open field.
Weird.
Hotaru noted, giving one more stretch before standing up. Her entire form save below her shins was now visible, and depending on how observant the bounty hunter was, he would already have locked onto her position. Dressed in a cyan bikini, a black, unbuttoned jacket with matching blue stitching, and black micro shorts with vertical cyan stripes on the outer hem, it would be hard to miss the fiery haired captain's mane or outfit set against the green of the meadow.
Below the grass, black tabi shoes covered her feet, but they wouldn't be visible to the boy.
"cn'I help you with something?"
She asked as she stretched a bit more, her left eye squinting as she wiggled her spine to get more comfortable. Feeling refreshed, She dipped her hand down to her resting place and picked up the multi-sword sheath, Swinging the strap over her shoulder as she waited for some sort of answer.
As she waited, she took notice of his small arsenal of weaponry, including a harpoon gun, two swords, and what looked like a sling shot. In comparison, other than her swords, she only had a bracelet on each wrist. He seemed awfully prepared for just a simple traveler...still, his panicked demeanor didn't seem too threatening to the pirate captain. [/blockquote]

Haruki stiffened slightly when he heard a female voice. Turning his head, he saw her. How in the name of god had he missed her? He turned his body towards her too, and held up the bounty poster, looking from it to her, making sure that it was really her. He shrugged, putting the wanted poster back into his jacket, and looked at the rest of her. Well, now he was surprised. God damn wanted posters focusing only on the face. Well, he had to give it a try. He smiled, pushing his sunglasses further up on his nose, making sure his eyes were totally covered. He then unsheathed one of his swords, the one with the black hilt, and pointed it at her.
”You can come with me quietly and let me get some Beri for your bounty. Or you can fight me.” Haruki said, still holding his sword out towards her. In truth, he wanted to test if he really could go against a person with a bounty of 28 million Beri. And heck, if he won, he had no idea what he would do. But chances were that he would lose. For some reason, she gave off this vibe that made his instinct tell him to back off. That she was dangerous. He liked that.

Her face twisted into a mask of confusion, not entirely sure if the boy was actually serious or not. He did have a wanted poster with her face on it, but something about him headhunting just seemed...well ridiculous.
"You're kidding, right?"
She said, cocking her head to the side as she stifled a giggle. Her right hand grasped at the hilt of one of her swords, drawing the blade from it's sheath and holding it without much purpose, it's tip pointed somewhere off in the horizon. She wasn't threatened in the least by what the boy had said, but she didn't take having weapons pointed at her lightly so she brandished a blade of her own for protection.
The 5 meter distance between them gave her a comfortable window to react to any of his movements, so her relaxed demeanor persisted. Something told her that he wasn't going to back off, however, she thought she would give him the option to do so anyway.
"Look. I've been having a pretty good day up to this point, so I'm gonna let you threatening to turn me in for my bounty slide. I'm sure there are plenty of 'big bad pirates' back in town for you to hunt, so why don't you run along and play bounty hunter with someone else."
The straight edged sword in her grasp was twirled quickly and came back to rest in a defensive position, the blade parallel to her straight posture; its sharp edge bisecting her form as she waited for some reaction from her potential 'opponent.' [/blockquote]

Haruki sighed. He did not like messing up a persons good day. It would have been better if he had interrupted a bad day. But still, he wanted to fight her. So he unsheathed the other sword too, and stabbed both of them into the ground. He then took a deep breath. ”Fine then. No bounty hunting. Then what about a duel?” Haruki said while he pulled his scarf and jacket off with the harpoon gun, throwing them onto the ground next to him.
”You see, In real I just want to test myself. Check if I am good enough. So how about we duel, and we both have a condition that the other have to fulfill if one win? Just to make you day better?” Haruki asked, pulling his slingshot out of the belt, throwing it on top of the jacket. The sheaths went the same way. Now, all he had was his sunglasses, his two swords and his clothing. Well, he had no real reason to lie anyway. He let the blades stay in the ground as he awaited her response. He had trouble focusing his eyes on her head however, but due to the Sunglasses he could avoid being discovered…or so he hoped.

"pff....aha....hahaha...AHAHAHA"
Hotaru tried to fight back the fit of laughter, but it couldn't be helped.
"People actually talk like that? I thought this stuff only came out of kid's comic books!"
She continued to giggle for a few more seconds before finally regaining her composure. Sporting a healthy grin, she stared at the boy in disbelief. Her sword had fallen from its ready position; its point aimed haphazardly at the ground.
"Seriously kid, you shouldn't be carrying those things around and challenging people to duels. You'll probably end up dead, naked, and dumped in a ditch or something. Why dont you hang those things back up in your Dad's study and go back to the comic store with your friends?"
She was giving him one last chance to back down from challenging her. If provoked, she would, of course, retaliate, but she would feel bad beating up someone so...clueless. [/blockquote]

Haruki’s fists clenched as the pirate began laughing of him. His eye twitched too, but his sunglasses hid it. Now, what she said next made his blood boil. She acted as if he was a little kid. And she spoke as if she knew how his life was. Oh, it was on. He grabbed his sunglasses, throwing them over to his stuff. He then pulled his swords out of the ground. He was angry. And his crimson colored eyes were quite fitting for his current mood.
He then charged. Just simply charged her. Dashing towards her, a short burst of 6 meters in a second. But she was only 5 meters away. So he held his right hand forward, holding the sword upside down. And as he dashed, he moved it upwards so that it was on its side instead, the blade pointing towards her.

It seemed that her taunting had gotten the better of the wanna be bounty hunter. Without much warning, his feet pushed off the ground and he sprinted quickly towards her through the grass. In response to his sudden attack, the straight edged sword in her hands was tossed at Haruki, it's rotation so quick that it seemed to transform into a solid disk of steel. It's diagonal positioning was aligned with her target that, unless he took considerable measures to move to either side of the weapon, he would suffer a deep wound from the sword's momentum. Though spinning quickly, the sword would find the ground and stick straight up in the grass after traveling just 5 meters.
If her opponent called off his rushing attack in favor of avoiding injury, she would waste no time in making another attack. With a powerful heave on the slack of the multi sword sheath, the 9 remaining blades flew into the air before their edges pointed to the ground; 8 aligned to fall directly on top of Haruki's position in a diamond pattern, each sword 1 meter from the next. The final blade would fall to Hotaru's waiting hand, and a confident grasp would be placed on the weapon, ready to block any attacks the bounty hunter would make if he avoided both attacks.
